Oppo A6s Pro

The Oppo A6s Pro has a non-folding, standard-form design measuring 158.2 mm tall, 75 mm wide, and just 8 mm thick, with a total volume of 94.92 cm³ and a weight of 188 g. One of its more notable design attributes is its IP68 ingress protection rating, which classifies it as fully waterproof under the defined testing conditions. The device does not feature a rugged build, but the IP68 certification alone provides meaningful protection against water and dust in everyday scenarios.

The Oppo A6s Pro features a 6.57″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2372 px and a pixel density of 397 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp visual experience. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 1000 nits, making content legible in a variety of lighting conditions. It supports HDR10 and includes an Always-On Display mode, though HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are not supported. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and there is no secondary display on this device.

The Oppo A6s Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2.2 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support across 8 threads, and a thermal design power of 5W. Graphics are handled by an integrated Mali G57 GPU clocked at 1000 MHz, supporting DirectX 11, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The device comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM at 4266 MHz and 256 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 12 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 17.1 GB/s. Additional platform features include integrated LTE, 64-bit support, ARM TrustZone security, and integrated graphics.

The Oppo A6s Pro includes a multi-lens rear camera system led by a 50 MP CMOS sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization, capable of recording video at 1080p and 60 fps with continuous autofocus and slow-motion support, though there is no optical zoom, no BSI sensor, and no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. Autofocus options on the main camera cover phase-detection and touch autofocus, while manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, shutter speed, and white balance, and shooting modes include burst, panorama, timelapse, and built-in HDR — though RAW capture and 360-degree panorama are not available. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. The front camera also resolves at 50 MP with an f/2.0 aperture and is a single-lens unit positioned above the display, without a front-facing flash or under-display placement.

The Oppo A6s Pro runs on Android 16 and ships as a free and open-source platform with a broad set of usability and privacy features. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are absent. The OS supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode for display comfort, while productivity is aided by split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, Live Text, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. It also includes on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user support, a child lock, app offloading, battery health check, and device position tracking. However, focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Oppo A6s Pro houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports wired fast charging at 80W, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it straightforward to monitor charge status. The battery is non-removable, and neither wireless charging nor reverse wireless charging is available on this device.

The Oppo A6s Pro features stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so wired audio requires an adapter or USB-C headphones. There is no radio built into the device. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codecs are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Oppo A6s Pro supports Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS with Galileo, and accommodates two SIM cards through its cellular module, with download speeds up to 650 MBits/s and upload speeds up to 150 MBits/s. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and there is no external memory slot or HDMI output. The device does not support 5G, and biometric authentication is limited to a fingerprint scanner — 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. Onboard sensors include a gyroscope and accelerometer, while a compass, barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are all absent. Features such as satellite SOS, crash detection, ANT+, DLNA certification, a stylus, and a built-in projector are likewise not included.

The Oppo A6s Pro includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate scenes during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper display are part of the design.
