It carries an IP64 ingress protection rating, meaning it is dust-tight and resistant to water splashes from any direction, though it is not designed to withstand submersion.

The Oppo A6t 5G uses a 6.75-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1570 px and a pixel density of 256 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate paired with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 900 nits. The display does not feature branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Oppo A6t 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip, built on a 6nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running two cores at 2.4 GHz and six at 2.0 GHz across 8 threads, using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support. It comes with 4GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2133 MHz and 128GB of internal storage, while the chipset supports a maximum memory amount of 12GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 17.07 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU running at 950 MHz, with DirectX 12 support. The chip includes integrated LTE, supports 64-bit processing and multithreading, and its cache hierarchy consists of 512 KB L1, 1 MB L2, and 2 MB L3 cache.
