It holds an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and resistant to water splashing from any direction, though it does not carry a rugged-grade build designation.

The Oppo A6t 5G features a 6.75″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1570 px and a pixel density of 256 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate paired with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, contributing to smoother on-screen interactions. Typical brightness is rated at 900 nits, and the display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Oppo A6t 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2.4 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz across 8 threads, utilizing big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support for workload distribution. Integrated graphics come from the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, with DirectX 12 support, while LTE is handled directly on the SoC. The device ships with 6GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz and 256GB of internal storage, with the platform supporting up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.07 GB/s. Cache is arranged as 512 KB L1, 1 MB L2, and 2 MB L3, and the chip supports 64-bit processing and multithreading. Geekbench 6 scores are recorded at 782 for single-core and 2012 for multi-core performance.

The Oppo A6t 5G features a single-lens rear camera with a 50 MP CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, supported by phase-detection autofocus for photos, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though optical image stabilization and laser autofocus are absent. There is no optical zoom, and the sensor is not back-illuminated. The Oppo A6t 5G is equipped with a 6500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.

The Oppo A6t 5G includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio connections and supports aptX HD for higher-quality Bluetooth audio streaming. It does not feature stereo speakers, and the Bluetooth codec options do not extend to standard aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC. There is no built-in radio on this device.

The Oppo A6t 5G includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and it uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
