It carries an IP64 rating, meaning it offers meaningful protection against dust ingress and water splashes, though it does not feature a fully rugged build.

The Oppo A6t 5G features a 6.75″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1570 px and a pixel density of 256 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate paired with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, contributing to smoother on-screen interactions, and reaches a typical brightness of 900 nits. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Oppo A6t 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, fabricated on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2.4 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz across 8 threads, using big.LITTLE technology with HMP for workload distribution. Graphics are handled by an integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, with support for DirectX 12. The camera also supports HDR mode, burst shooting, slow-motion video, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas, but does not shoot in RAW format, lacks optical zoom, and does not support 360° panoramas, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, or 3D capture. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, extra dim mode, and widgets, while focus modes are absent. Productivity-oriented features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, customizable notifications, notification permissions, the ability to offload apps, and the option to play games while they are still downloading. A child lock and battery health check are also present. Wi-Fi password sharing and Quick Start are not supported, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor, nor can it function as a PC.

The Oppo A6t 5G is equipped with a 6500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.
