One of its more notable physical attributes is its IP68 waterproof rating, which certifies it to withstand submersion at depths of up to 1.5 m, though it does not feature a rugged build for additional drop or shock protection.

The Oppo A6t Pro 4G uses a 6.75″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1570 px and a pixel density of 256 ppi, offering a 120Hz refresh rate alongside a 240Hz touch sampling rate for smoother on-screen interaction. Typical brightness is rated at 900 nits, and the panel does not feature branded damage-resistant glass, HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision support. There is no Always-On Display mode and no secondary screen, keeping the design straightforward as a single-display device.

The Oppo A6t Pro 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chipset, fabricated on a 6 nm process and featuring an octa-core CPU with four cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and four at 1.9 GHz using big.LITTLE technology, backed by 8 threads, NX bit, and TrustZone support. The SoC includes integrated LTE and an Adreno 610 GPU running at 1260 MHz, with DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2 support. The device comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz and a maximum supported memory amount of 16 GB, a maximum memory bandwidth of 17 GB/s, and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Geekbench 6 scores sit at 473 single-core and 1510 multi-core, while Geekbench 5 results reach 442 single-core and 1787 multi-core, and the chipset is fully 64-bit compatible.

The Oppo A6t Pro 4G features a single-lens rear camera with a 50 MP CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, supporting phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and a manual control set that includes exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with slow-motion recording supported but no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording capability, and optical zoom is absent. The rear camera is accompanied by a single LED flash — not dual-tone or RGB — and also offers burst mode, panorama, timelapse, and HDR photo modes, while RAW capture and 360-degree panorama shooting are not supported. Privacy-wise, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and app tracking prevention, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included. The software experience is further rounded out by dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, customizable notifications with a media picker, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, widgets, app offloading, an extra dim mode, battery health check, sharing intents, child lock, and the ability to play games while they download. OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor, and features such as Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, and Quick Start are absent.

The Oppo A6t Pro 4G is equipped with a 7000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to monitor charge status. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.

The Oppo A6t Pro 4G does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, or a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX over Bluetooth, though higher-tier codecs such as aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available.

Features such as HDMI output, DLNA certification, ANT+, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion tracking, optical tracking, a built-in projector, and a stylus are likewise not included.

The Oppo A6t Pro 4G includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no sapphire glass, and is not an e-paper panel.
