The Oppo Enco X3s use an in-ear fit and are fully wireless, with no cables or neckband involved. Each earbud weighs 9.4 g and is rated IP55, confirming resistance to dust and water splashing. The earbuds feature stereo speakers but do not include wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, or any built-in display.
The Oppo Enco X3s are equipped with an 11 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 15 Hz to 40,000 Hz, with a sound pressure level of 118 dB/mW. Both active noise cancellation and passive noise reduction are supported, and the earbuds are also compatible with spatial audio. Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, and a neodymium magnet are not part of the specification.
Each earbud holds a 62 mAh rechargeable battery delivering up to 11 hours of playback, which drops to 6 hours when ANC is active. The charging case carries a 530 mAh cell, bringing the combined total battery life to 34 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and the case supports wireless charging. A battery level indicator is included, while solar charging is not available.
The Oppo Enco X3s connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 m, and the charging case uses USB Type-C. Supported audio codecs include LDHC and AAC, while LDAC, aptX in all its variants (including aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice), and Bluetooth LE Audio are not supported. Fast pairing, NFC pairing, and Auracast are likewise absent from the feature set.
The Oppo Enco X3s include an ambient sound mode, a mute function, voice prompts, and can be used as a headset for calls. Controls are handled through a panel placed directly on the earbuds, and fast charging is supported. A travel bag is included in the package. The earbuds do not offer in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification readout, a built-in translator, an in-line control panel, a temperature sensor, or a camera remote shutter function.
The Oppo Enco X3s feature a 6-microphone array with noise-canceling capability, supporting clearer voice pickup during calls and voice interactions.
