On the durability front, it carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is certified as water resistant against low-pressure water jets, offering a practical level of everyday protection without the bulk of a purpose-built rugged device.

The Oppo F25 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1080 x 2412 px resolution and a pixel density of 394 ppi, delivering sharp and vibrant visuals. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate for responsive input, and reaches a typical brightness of 500 nits. It supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ content and includes an Always-On Display mode, though Dolby Vision is not supported and there is no secondary screen. The display does not feature branded damage-resistant glass.

The Oppo F25 Pro 5G is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 system-on-chip, built on a 6 nm process with a 5W TDP, featuring an octa-core CPU arranged in a big.LITTLE configuration with two cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and six at 2 GHz, running 8 threads with HMP and NX bit support. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G68 MP4 GPU, which operates at 950 MHz with a turbo frequency of 900 MHz, 4 execution units, and 64 shading units, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The device comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 3200 MHz across 4 memory channels — expandable up to a maximum of 16 GB — alongside 256 GB of internal storage, and scores 936 in Geekbench 6 single-core and 2257 in multi-core tests. The SoC also integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, and ARM TrustZone security, with 2 MB of L3 cache rounding out the hardware profile.

The Oppo F25 Pro 5G runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. On the customization side, the OS supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, widgets, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, live text selection in images, multi-user accounts, a child lock, battery health monitoring, and phone tracking, though Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are absent. OS updates are not delivered directly from the platform vendor.

The Oppo F25 Pro 5G is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 67W wired fast charging, allowing for quick top-ups when needed. Wireless charging is not available. A battery level indicator is present, giving users a clear read of remaining charge at a glance.

The Oppo F25 Pro 5G omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX and aptX HD, enabling higher-quality Bluetooth audio transmission, though aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not included.
