The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 600 nits. It is protected by branded damage-resistant glass, though it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Oppo F31 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, a 4 nm octa-core chipset built on big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing support, running four cores at 2.5 GHz and four at 2 GHz across 8 threads. It is paired with 8 GB of DDR5 RAM at 6400 MHz and 128 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory of 16 GB. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G615 MC2 GPU clocked at 1047 MHz, supporting DirectX 12 and a single display output. The SoC packs 6200 million transistors, includes integrated LTE, and is 64-bit compatible, while Geekbench 6 scores of 1026 (single-core) and 2932 (multi-core) reflect its computational throughput.

The Oppo F31 Pro 5G features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP main sensor at f/1.8 and a 2 MP lens at f/2.4, both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. It supports optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and slow-motion recording, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed is not available.
