Oppo Watch X

The Oppo Watch X features a 1.43″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 466 x 466 px and a pixel density of 326 ppi, protected by sapphire glass and supporting an always-on display mode. The watch measures 47 mm in height, 46.6 mm in width, and 12.1 mm in thickness, with a total weight of 49 g and a volume of 26.50142 cm³, and it comes with a replaceable band. It does not use branded damage-resistant glass such as Gorilla Glass. On the durability side, the watch carries a 5 ATM rating and IP67 certification, making it waterproof to a depth of 50 m, and it is rated to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 70 °C.

The Oppo Watch X includes a solid set of onboard sensors, covering a heart rate monitor, a pulse oximeter for blood oxygenation tracking, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a barometer, and a compass, along with built-in GPS for location tracking. It does not include a body temperature sensor, a cadence sensor, or a perspiration monitor.

The Oppo Watch X covers a wide range of everyday activity tracking, monitoring steps, distance, pace, elevation, and calorie intake, while also offering sleep tracking with detailed sleep reports. It automatically detects activities and supports exercise tagging, and a built-in route tracker logs movement paths during workouts. It does not include a multi-sport mode and is not designed for diving or golf.

The Oppo Watch X connects via Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), and includes NFC for contactless interactions, while Galileo satellite support extends its location accuracy alongside GPS. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The watch does not include a cellular module or ANT+ support.

The Oppo Watch X is equipped with a 500 mAh rechargeable battery that delivers up to 2 days of typical use and extends to 288 hours in power-save mode, with a full charge taking around 1 hour. The battery is neither removable nor solar-powered, and the watch does not support wireless charging.

The Oppo Watch X measures VO2 max and resting heart rate, and delivers fast/slow heart rate notifications, though it does not offer HRV tracking, irregular heart rate warnings, ECG technology, or a readiness and recovery score. On the communication side, it supports wrist notifications, call answering, call control, voice commands, and a phone-finder function. Alerts are handled through silent and vibrating options, and a stopwatch is also on board, while a smart alarm is not included. The watch comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, supports fast GPS lock, and does not have a front camera. Fall detection is absent, and the device carries a 1-year warranty.

The companion app for the Oppo Watch X is free and ad-free, and requires an account to use. It provides activity reports, inactivity alerts, calorie burn counts, goal setting, achievements, an exercise diary, water intake tracking, and weight tracking, though temperature tracking and route support are not available. The app syncs with existing calendars, supports music playback, offers widgets, and can be personalised to the user's preferences. Data cannot be exported to email, and there is no barcode scanner or coaching feature included.

The Oppo Watch X includes a battery level indicator and supports passcode protection for security. It does not have an external memory slot or a 3.5 mm audio jack, and it is not compatible with Windows or Mac OS X.
