The Oraimo BoomPop N uses an over-ear fit and a closed-back design with stereo speakers, delivering a standard listening setup suited for personal use rather than children. It can be folded, which helps with storage and portability, and comes with both a detachable and tangle-free cable for added convenience during wired use. No travel bag is included, and the headphone carries no water resistance rating, so it offers no protection against moisture. There are no concerns about cable tangles during daily handling thanks to the tangle-free design.
The Oraimo BoomPop N is equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) as well as passive noise reduction, giving it two layers of noise management during use. Its 40 mm driver units cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the full standard audible spectrum. The headphone does not support spatial audio and does not use a neodymium magnet in its driver construction.
The Oraimo BoomPop N houses a built-in rechargeable battery that is not removable, offering up to 65 hours of playback in standard wireless mode or 44 hours when active noise cancellation is enabled. It charges fully in 2 hours via USB Type-C and includes a battery level indicator so users can keep track of remaining charge. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The Oraimo BoomPop N supports both wireless and wired connectivity, with the wireless side running on Bluetooth 5.4 and reaching a maximum range of 10 meters. None of the advanced audio codecs are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, aptX Low Latency, LDAC, LDHC, or AAC, and the headphone does not support Bluetooth LE Audio or Auracast. Pairing conveniences such as fast pair and NFC pairing are also absent.
The Oraimo BoomPop N can be used as a headset, backed by a noise-canceling microphone for clearer call audio, and includes an ambient sound mode that lets environmental sound through when needed. Controls are handled via an on-device panel rather than an in-line cable control, and the headphone supports multipoint connectivity for up to 2 devices simultaneously. In/on-ear detection for automatic playback pausing and a dedicated mute function are not available on this model.
