Oukitel C58

The Oukitel C58 has a standard flat, non-folding design with no rugged certification and no water resistance. It stands 166.8 mm tall and 77.5 mm wide with a thickness of 8.7 mm, and comes in at a weight of 199 g, giving it a total volume of approximately 112.46 cm³.

The Oukitel C58 features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 262 ppi, offering a reasonably sized viewing area for everyday use. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, adding a layer of durability against scratches and minor impacts. It does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and there is no secondary screen present.

The Oukitel C58 is driven by the Unisoc T606 chipset, a 12 nm octa-core processor running at 1.6 GHz across all eight threads, paired with 4GB of DDR4 RAM at 1600 MHz and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with external expansion supported up to 1TB. The SoC integrates an LTE modem, TrustZone security, and uses big.LITTLE architecture with HMP scheduling, while graphics are handled by the Mali G57 MP1 GPU clocked at 650 MHz with 64 shading units, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. In benchmark testing, the chipset scores 194,967 on AnTuTu, 1,329 multi-core and 367 single-core on Geekbench 6, and 2,663 on PassMark, with 3DMark Wild Life returning 401.4 and the Unlimited variant reaching 969. The processor carries a 10W TDP, a maximum memory bandwidth of 12.8 GB/s, and cache layers consisting of 128 KB L1, 2 MB L2, and 1 MB L3, with the total addressable memory ceiling sitting at 14GB.

The Oukitel C58 comes with a single-lens 13 MP rear camera at f/2.2 aperture, capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps, with a single LED flash but no dual-tone or RGB flash, no optical zoom, and no optical image stabilization. Focusing options include phase-detection autofocus for stills, continuous autofocus during video recording, touch autofocus, and manual focus, though laser autofocus is absent. On the manual controls side, the camera supports adjustable ISO, exposure, and white balance, but does not offer manual shutter speed control or RAW shooting. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst mode, panorama, slow-motion video, and timelapse, while 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D capture are not supported. The 5 MP front camera also shoots at f/2.2 and is a single-lens unit with no front-facing flash and is not positioned under the display.

The Oukitel C58 runs Android 14 and includes a solid set of privacy controls, covering location access management, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. On the usability side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, a media picker, split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, full-page screenshots, sharing intents, widgets, a child lock, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes, app offloading, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are absent. Additional capabilities include on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, phone tracking, battery health checks, multi-user support, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. The OS does not support direct vendor updates and cannot be used to turn the device into a PC.

The Oukitel C58 is equipped with a 5150 mAh rechargeable battery that supports fast charging at 10W, and a charger is included in the box. The battery features a level indicator but is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Oukitel C58 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio, covering the basics for wired listening and broadcast audio. It does not feature stereo speakers, and on the wireless audio side, there is no support for aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Oukitel C58 supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5, and NFC, connecting to cellular networks via a single SIM slot without 5G support, with download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s. The device uses a USB Type-C port and includes an external memory card slot for storage expansion. Location is handled through GPS with Galileo support, and an accelerometer is present, while a gyroscope, compass, barometer, and infrared sensor are all absent. Security is covered by a fingerprint scanner, though 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not included. Features such as DLNA certification, ANT+ support, HDMI output, a heart rate monitor, a built-in projector, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a stylus are not part of this device.

The Oukitel C58 includes a video light for illuminating footage during recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
