Oukitel C58 Pro

The Oukitel C58 Pro has a standard, non-folding form factor measuring 166.8 mm in height, 77.5 mm in width, and 8.7 mm in thickness, with a total volume of 112.46 cm³. It weighs 199 g and does not feature a rugged build or any form of water resistance, making it a conventional everyday smartphone design.

The Oukitel C58 Pro features a 6.7″ LCD IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 262 ppi, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On mode, and there is no secondary screen present.

The Oukitel C58 Pro is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an 8-thread CPU running at 2 x 1.6 GHz and 6 x 1.6 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP technology, alongside a Mali G57 MP1 GPU clocked at 650 MHz with 64 shading units and DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2 support. It comes with 6 GB of DDR4 RAM at 1600 MHz and 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, expandable up to 1024 GB externally, with a maximum supported memory amount of 14 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 12.8 GB/s. The SoC includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, TrustZone security, and a TDP of 10W, with cache organized as 128 KB L1, 2 MB L2, and 1 MB L3. Benchmark results include an AnTuTu score of 194,967, Geekbench 6 multi-core of 1329 and single-core of 367, PassMark of 2663, and 3DMark Wild Life scores of 401.4, 969 (Unlimited), and 133.3 (Extreme).

The Oukitel C58 Pro features a single-lens 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, capable of recording video at 1080p/30fps with continuous autofocus, slow-motion support, and phase-detection autofocus for stills, though it lacks optical image stabilization, a BSI sensor, a CMOS sensor, laser autofocus, and optical zoom. The main camera supports a broad set of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, along with HDR mode, burst shooting, touch autofocus, panorama, and timelapse, while RAW shooting and manual shutter speed are not available; a single LED flash is present, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. On the front, an 8 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies via a standard single-lens setup without a front flash or under-display placement, and video recording on both cameras does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision, nor are 3D or 360-degree capture modes available.

The Oukitel C58 Pro runs Android 14, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode. Privacy-focused features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. The OS also offers customizable notifications, a media picker, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, a child lock, phone tracking, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands, while games can be played during download and battery health can be monitored. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to use the device as a PC are not supported, and direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided.

The Oukitel C58 Pro houses a 5150 mAh rechargeable battery with a battery level indicator and supports fast charging at 10W via cable, with a charger included in the box. The battery is not removable and does not support wireless charging.

The Oukitel C58 Pro includes a 3.5 mm audio jack and a built-in radio, but is equipped with a single speaker rather than a stereo setup. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Oukitel C58 Pro supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS with Galileo, alongside a cellular module with download speeds up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds up to 100 Mbit/s, though 5G is not supported. It accommodates a single SIM card and includes a USB Type-C port, an external memory slot, and a fingerprint scanner, while an accelerometer is the only motion sensor present — gyroscope, compass, barometer, and any form of motion or optical tracking are absent. Biometric options are limited to the fingerprint scanner, as 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available, and there is no infrared sensor, HDMI output, ANT+ support, heart rate monitor, DLNA certification, built-in projector, stylus, satellite SOS, or crash detection.

The Oukitel C58 Pro includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions, while the display is flat and standard — neither curved nor e-paper — and sapphire glass protection is not present.
