Oukitel WP35

The Oukitel WP35 features a rugged build with an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it is sealed against dust and capable of withstanding submersion in water. The chassis is not foldable, reflecting the conventional candybar form factor typical of ruggedized devices. It measures 172.2 mm in height, 81 mm in width, and 14.9 mm in thickness, with a total volume of approximately 207.83 cm³. At 360 g, the phone is notably heavier than most standard smartphones, which is consistent with its reinforced construction and large internal battery.

The Oukitel WP35 uses a 6.6-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, delivering a pixel density of 400 ppi and a typical brightness of 450 nits. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, adding a meaningful layer of scratch and impact resistance in line with the phone's rugged nature. The panel is flat with no secondary screen, and it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode.

The Oukitel WP35 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus, a 6 nm octa-core SoC with 2 performance cores at 2.2 GHz and 6 efficiency cores at 2 GHz across 8 threads, utilizing big.LITTLE and HMP technologies alongside multithreading support. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz and 256GB of internal storage, with the platform supporting a maximum memory capacity of 12GB. Graphics are handled by an integrated Mali G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, with integrated LTE also present on the chip. In benchmarks, the device scores 8840 on PCMark Work 3.0 performance and 133 on 3DMark Steel Nomad, while the PCMark battery test recorded 1708 minutes — a figure that reflects the large battery capacity rather than the SoC alone.

The Oukitel WP35 features a dual-lens rear camera system with a 64 MP main sensor at f/2.0 and an 8 MP secondary lens at f/1.9, both using CMOS sensors without back-side illumination or optical image stabilization. Video recording tops out at 1440p at 30 fps, and autofocus options include phase-detection AF, touch AF, and continuous AF during video, while laser autofocus is absent. There is no optical zoom. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. Supported shooting modes include HDR, burst, panorama, slow-motion, and timelapse, while RAW capture, 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D recording are all absent. A single LED flash provides rear illumination with no RGB or dual-tone option. The 32 MP front camera has an f/2.2 aperture, is positioned above the display rather than under it, and has no front-facing flash.

The Oukitel WP35 runs Android 14 and includes a well-rounded set of privacy features: clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking are all present, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. Personalization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, an extra dim mode, and widget support, while focus modes, app offloading, and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. Productivity and usability features cover split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, sharing intents, Live Text selection, customizable notifications with a media picker, and the ability to play games while they download. The device additionally supports offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, battery health monitoring, a child lock, multi-user mode, and phone tracking. Direct OS updates from the vendor and Quick Start are not supported.

The Oukitel WP35 is equipped with a substantial 11000 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery, clearly designed with extended use and multi-day endurance in mind. It supports wired fast charging at 18W, and a charger is included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. A battery level indicator is present, giving users an ongoing view of remaining charge.

The Oukitel WP35 includes a built-in FM radio but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, meaning wired audio connections require an adapter or alternative method. There are no stereo speakers, so audio output is limited to a single channel. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codecs are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Oukitel WP35 offers a broad connectivity setup, with 5G support and compatibility with both Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), alongside Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC for contactless use. It supports dual SIM cards and connects via a USB Type-C port running at USB 2.0 speeds, though there is no external memory slot for storage expansion. Download speeds reach up to 3300 Mbit/s. A fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are absent. On the sensor side, the device includes a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and GPS with Galileo support, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, infrared sensor, ANT+, motion tracking, and optical tracking are not present. HDMI output, DLNA certification, crash detection, emergency satellite SOS, a built-in projector, and a stylus are also not included.

The Oukitel WP35 includes a video light to assist with illumination during video capture. The display is flat with no curved panel design, and the phone uses neither sapphire glass protection nor an e-paper screen technology.
