Oukitel WP39

The Oukitel WP39 features a rugged build rated IP68 for full waterproof protection, making it suited for use in harsh environments. It measures 172.2 mm in height, 81 mm in width, and 15 mm in thickness, with a total volume of 209.223 cm³ and a weight of 360 g. The device has a fixed, non-folding form factor.

The Oukitel WP39 uses an IPS LCD touchscreen measuring 6.6 inches with a 1080 x 2408 px resolution and a pixel density of 400 ppi. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, offering resistance against everyday scratches and impacts. It does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and there is no secondary screen.

The Oukitel WP39 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset, built on a 6 nm process and featuring an 8-thread CPU with a configuration of 2 x 2.2 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz cores using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support. It comes with 6 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz and 256 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 12 GB. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, supporting DirectX 12. The SoC also includes integrated LTE, and the platform supports 64-bit processing and multithreading.

The Oukitel WP39 features a triple-lens rear camera system with 64 MP, 8 MP, and 2 MP sensors at apertures of f/1.9, f/2, and f/2.2 respectively, using a CMOS sensor and supporting phase-detection autofocus for stills as well as continuous autofocus during video recording. The main camera records video at 1440 x 30 fps and is backed by a single LED flash, though it lacks optical image stabilization, a BSI sensor, laser autofocus, slow-motion recording, and HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, touch autofocus, and in-camera panorama, though raw capture, 360-degree panorama, timelapse, and 3D recording are not available. On the front, a 32 MP single-lens camera with an f/2.2 aperture handles selfies, without a front-facing flash or an under-display placement.

The Oukitel WP39 runs Android 14, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, voice commands, offline voice recognition, and device tracking. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. Customization options span dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also includes a battery health check, an extra dim display mode, a child lock, and on-device machine learning, but does not offer focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, app offloading, direct OS vendor updates, or Quick Start.

The Oukitel WP39 is equipped with a 11000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it straightforward to monitor remaining charge. The battery is non-removable and does not support wireless charging.

The Oukitel WP39 includes a built-in radio but omits a number of common audio features: there is no 3.5 mm headphone jack, no stereo speakers, and no support for any high-quality Bluetooth audio codec, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Oukitel WP39 supports 5G connectivity along with Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC, with a maximum download speed of 3300 MBits/s. It accommodates two SIM cards and connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, though there is no external memory slot or HDMI output. Location capabilities include GPS with Galileo support and a compass, while onboard sensors cover a gyroscope and accelerometer. A fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication, but 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available. The device does not include a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, crash detection, satellite SOS, motion or optical tracking, a built-in projector, or a stylus.

The Oukitel WP39 includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and it uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
