The Philips TAT3469 features an open-ear fit and operates as a fully true wireless design with no cables or neckband involved. It carries an IPX5 ingress protection rating, confirming resistance to water splashes, which makes it suitable for use in light rain or during exercise. The earbuds include stereo speakers but do not feature wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, or any built-in display.
The Philips TAT3469 uses a 13 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 22 Hz to 20,000 Hz, with an impedance of 32 Ohms and a sound pressure level of 96 dB/mW. The earbuds do not include active noise cancellation or passive noise reduction, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo. A neodymium magnet is also not part of the driver configuration.
The Philips TAT3469 offers 7.5 hours of battery life per charge, with the included charging case adding enough capacity for a combined total of 30.5 hours. The case holds a 300 mAh battery, and a full recharge of the earbuds takes 1.5 hours. A battery level indicator is present, and the battery is rechargeable. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The Philips TAT3469 connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 m, and supports the AAC codec for audio transmission. USB Type-C is used for wired charging, though fast pairing and NFC pairing are not available. The earbuds do not support any aptX variants — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice — and there is no LDAC, LDHC, Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast support.
The Philips TAT3469 supports fast charging and can function as a headset for calls, with a mute function and voice prompts included. Controls are placed directly on the device, and a travel bag is provided in the box. The earbuds do not offer ambient sound mode, in-ear detection, a find-device feature, notification reading, an in-line control panel, a built-in translator, a body temperature sensor, or a camera remote shutter function.
The Philips TAT3469 is equipped with a noise-canceling microphone, which helps reduce unwanted background noise during calls or voice input.
