The QCY Crossky GTR2 use an open-ear fit and are fully wireless with no cables or neckband, relying on included wingtips to stay in place during wear. They carry an IPX5 ingress protection rating, classifying them as water resistant against low-pressure water jets. The earbuds feature stereo speakers and have no RGB lighting, UV light, or built-in display.
The QCY Crossky GTR2 use a 14.8mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. They support spatial audio, while active noise cancellation, passive noise reduction, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, and a neodymium magnet are not part of the specification.
Each earbud holds a 75 mAh rechargeable battery delivering 8 hours of playback, while the 580 mAh charging case contributes an additional 20 hours for a combined total of 28 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is included to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The QCY Crossky GTR2 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 meters. Neither fast pairing nor NFC pairing is supported, and the earbuds do not include USB Type-C connectivity. On the audio codec side, LDAC, LDHC, AAC, and the full aptX family — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice — are all absent, as are Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast.
The QCY Crossky GTR2 support multipoint connectivity for up to two devices simultaneously and can be used as a headset, with a mute function and voice prompts included. Fast charging is supported, and a control panel is placed on the device itself, though there is no in-line control panel. A travel bag is included in the package. Features not present include ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device function, notification readout, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter.
The QCY Crossky GTR2 is equipped with four microphones and includes noise-canceling microphone capability to help reduce unwanted background sound during calls.
