The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen on this device.

Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to use the device as a PC are not included, and OS updates do not come directly from the platform vendor.

The Realme 12 4G is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 67W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it straightforward to monitor charge status. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme 12 4G includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers for wired listening and built-in audio output. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec standards — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.
