Realme 12 Lite

The Realme 12 Lite features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 392 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp image across its large panel. The display runs at a 90Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 800 nits, while lacking support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Always-On Display, branded damage-resistant glass, and a secondary screen.

The Realme 12 Lite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G, a 6 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU running at 4 x 2.8 GHz and 4 x 1.9 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE technology, integrated LTE, NX bit, and TrustZone security. It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz and 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 16 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 17 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 610 GPU clocked at 1260 MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. In Geekbench 6, the device scores 473 single-core and 1510 multi-core, while Geekbench 5 results stand at 442 single-core and 1787 multi-core; the platform is fully 64-bit compatible and includes integrated graphics.

The Realme 12 Lite sports a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 108 MP primary sensor at f/1.8 and a 2 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination or optical image stabilization. The main camera supports phase-detection and touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, burst mode, slow-motion recording, HDR, in-camera panoramas, and manual controls for ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, though it lacks laser autofocus, manual shutter speed, RAW capture, and optical zoom. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording support. A single LED flash is present on the rear, while dual-tone, RGB, and front-facing flash options are absent. The Realme 12 Lite is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 33W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, while wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme 12 Lite includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, covering the basics for wired listening and built-in audio output. However, it does not support any advanced Bluetooth audio codecs, with aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC all absent.

The Realme 12 Lite supports dual SIM cards and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC, though 5G is not available and DLNA certification is absent.
