Realme 14 5G

The Realme 14 5G has a non-folding, standard-form design measuring 163.1mm tall, 75.7mm wide, and just 8mm thick, with a total volume of 98.77cm³ and a weight of 196g. One of its more notable physical attributes is its IP68 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof against dust and water immersion. It does not feature a rugged build, so while the IP68 certification offers meaningful protection in everyday situations, the chassis is not hardened for extreme conditions.

The Realme 14 5G features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a pixel density of 395 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant viewing experience. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. However, it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

The Realme 14 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at up to 2.3 GHz using big.LITTLE technology, and a TDP of 7W. It comes with 12GB of DDR5 RAM running at 2750 MHz and 512GB of internal storage, with support for up to 16GB of memory and a maximum bandwidth of 12 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 810 GPU clocked at 800 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. In benchmarks, the device scores 684,042 on AnTuTu and records Geekbench 6 results of 784 single-core and 2,104 multi-core. Additional platform features include integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and full 64-bit support.

The Realme 14 5G features a single-lens 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a CMOS sensor, and optical image stabilization, capable of recording 4K video at 30fps along with slow-motion footage. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not present. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas are also supported; raw capture, manual shutter speed, and 360° panorama shooting are not available. The rear flash consists of a single LED unit without dual-tone or RGB capability, and video recording does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision. On the front, there is a single-lens 16MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture, with no front-facing flash and no under-display placement.

The Realme 14 5G runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, widgets, and the ability to play games while they download. It also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, app offloading, multi-user support, a child lock, battery health check, and device position tracking. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and OS updates do not come directly from the platform vendor.

The Realme 14 5G is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 45W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme 14 5G includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5mm headphone jack, so wired audio requires an adapter or USB-C headphones. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec standards are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. There is no built-in radio tuner either.

The Realme 14 5G supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with cellular download speeds reaching 2900 Mbit/s and upload speeds of 1600 Mbit/s. Wireless networking covers Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6, and the device connects to peripherals via Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C. An external memory slot is available for expandable storage. Onboard sensors include a fingerprint scanner, GPS with Galileo support, gyroscope, compass, and accelerometer, while NFC, infrared sensor, barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+, and HDMI output are all absent. Security biometrics are limited to the fingerprint scanner, as 3D facial recognition and iris scanning are not featured, and there is no stylus, built-in projector, DLNA certification, crash detection, or emergency SOS via satellite.

The Realme 14 5G includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel are used.
