One of its more notable physical attributes is its IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it carries a solid level of protection against water ingress despite not featuring a rugged build. The device does not include any reinforced or ruggedized construction, keeping it within the profile of a standard everyday smartphone.

The Realme 14x 5G features a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi, paired with a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother motion, while the touch sampling rate reaches 180Hz for more responsive input. It does not include branded damage-resistant glass, HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision support, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen. The display is a single-panel setup without any advanced HDR certification.

The Realme 14x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip, built on a 6 nm process and configured with an octa-core CPU running at 2 x 2.4 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing. The SoC includes integrated LTE, an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz with DirectX 12 support, and handles graphics through its integrated graphics unit. The Realme 14x 5G has a single-lens rear camera with a 50 MP CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, featuring a pixel size of 0.61 µm and no optical image stabilization or BSI sensor. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, while continuous autofocus is available during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. The main camera supports a healthy range of manual controls — exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — along with burst mode, HDR, panorama, timelapse, and slow-motion video, but does not support manual shutter speed, RAW capture, 360° panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, or 3D photo and video.
