The Realme Buds T01 follow a standard earbud fit and are fully true wireless, with no cables or neckband connecting the two earpieces. They weigh just 8 g, keeping the physical footprint minimal. The earbuds carry an IPX4 ingress protection rating, meaning they are resistant to sweat, which makes them suitable for use during physical activity. Stereo speakers are present across both units, while features such as wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, and a display are not included in this design.
The Realme Buds T01 use a 13 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Neither active noise cancellation nor passive noise reduction is present, and the earbuds do not support spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo. A neodymium magnet is also not part of the driver configuration.
The Realme Buds T01 offer 7 hours of battery life per charge, with the accompanying charging case providing an additional 21 hours for a combined total of 28 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and the earbuds include a battery level indicator to help track remaining power. The battery is rechargeable, though wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The Realme Buds T01 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4, with a maximum range of 10 m and fast pairing support for quicker device setup. Audio latency is rated at 88 ms, and the charging case uses a USB Type-C port. In terms of audio codecs, AAC, LDAC, LDHC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice are all absent, and the earbuds do not support Bluetooth LE Audio, Auracast, or NFC pairing.
The Realme Buds T01 support fast charging and can be used as a headset for calls, with a mute function available during use. Controls are handled through a panel placed on the device itself rather than an in-line control panel, and voice prompts are included to assist with navigation. A travel bag comes in the box for portability. Ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, notification reading, a temperature sensor, and a built-in camera remote are not part of the feature set.
