The Realme C85 Pro has a non-folding, non-rugged design measuring 164.4 mm tall, 78 mm wide, and 8.1 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 103.87 cm³ and a weight of 205 g. A standout aspect of its build is the IP69 ingress protection rating, which certifies it as fully waterproof and capable of withstanding submersion at depths of up to 6 meters.

The Realme C85 Pro features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2344 pixels at a pixel density of 254 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen on the device.

The Realme C85 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G, a 6 nm octa-core chipset configured with four cores running at 2.8 GHz and four at 1.9 GHz, using big.LITTLE technology across 8 threads. It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory capacity of 16 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 17 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 610 GPU clocked at 1260 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The chipset also includes integrated LTE, NX bit, and TrustZone security features, and the platform supports 64-bit processing. In Geekbench 6, the device scores 473 in single-core and 1510 in multi-core tests, while Geekbench 5 results stand at 442 single-core and 1787 multi-core.

The Realme C85 Pro has a single-lens rear camera with a 50 MP CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, supporting phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and a range of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed is not available. It records video at up to 1080p at 60 fps with slow-motion support, but does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, optical zoom, or 3D capture. The rear camera includes a single LED flash (no dual-tone or RGB), and features burst mode, panorama, timelapse, and HDR photo modes, while RAW shooting and 360-degree panorama are not supported. On the front, there is a single-lens 8 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, without a front-facing flash or under-display placement.

The Realme C85 Pro runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy and usability features, among them clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking — though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. The OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, extra dim mode, widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, and app offloading. It also offers on-device machine learning, Live Text, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user support, child lock, sharing intents, battery health check, and the ability to play games while they download. Focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to use the device as a PC are not supported, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Realme C85 Pro is equipped with a 7000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. The device has a battery level indicator but does not support wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, or a removable battery.

The Realme C85 Pro has a notably limited audio feature set — it does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack or stereo speakers, and there is no built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec standards are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

Satellite SOS, crash detection, HDMI output, DLNA certification, ANT+, and a built-in projector are also not featured.

The Realme C85 Pro includes a video light for use during video recording, while the display is flat and standard — it does not feature a curved panel, sapphire glass, or an e-paper screen.
