These combined ingress protection certifications go meaningfully beyond basic splash resistance, offering a solid level of protection for everyday use in wet conditions.

The Realme GT 7T features a 6.8″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 453 ppi, producing a sharp and detailed image across its large panel. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 1000 nits, while HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support ensure wide compatibility with high dynamic range content. The display is protected by branded damage-resistant glass and includes an Always-On Display mode for at-a-glance information; there is no secondary screen on the device.

The Realme GT 7T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Max, a 4 nm octa-core chipset with 8 threads configured across three clock tiers — one core at 3.25 GHz, four cores at 3 GHz, and three cores at 2.1 GHz — leveraging big.LITTLE and HMP technologies for efficient workload distribution. Graphics are handled by an integrated Mali G720 MC7 GPU clocked at 1300 MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chip scores 1571 single-core and 6033 multi-core in Geekbench 6, and supports 64-bit processing, NX bit, and TrustZone security. It also includes an extra dim mode, battery health check, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and the ability to play games while they download. Multi-user support, app offloading, sharing intents, child lock, and device position tracking are all present as well. Notably, the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor, and focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are absent. The OS is free and open source, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The Realme GT 7T houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable battery that is non-removable and supports 120W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box.
