Realme GT5 Pro

The Realme GT5 Pro measures 161.7 mm tall, 75.1 mm wide, and 9.2 mm thick, with a total volume of 111.72 cm³ and a weight of 224 g. It carries an IP64 ingress protection rating, meaning it offers resistance to dust and water splashing, though it does not feature a rugged build and cannot be folded. The device is a standard fixed-form smartphone with no ruggedized reinforcement.

The display is a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1264 x 2780 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi, paired with a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion. The contrast ratio reaches 5,000,000:1, and an Always-On Display mode is supported. The panel does not include branded damage-resistant glass and lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Realme GT5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 4 nm octa-core chipset with eight threads running across four clock speed clusters peaking at 3.3 GHz, supported by the Adreno 750 GPU clocked at 900 MHz. It comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 4800 MHz across two memory channels, a maximum memory ceiling of 24GB, and 1024GB of internal storage. The chip supports big.LITTLE architecture, HMP, TrustZone, integrated LTE, integrated graphics, DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2, and OpenVG 1.2, with a TDP of 12.5W and a maximum memory bandwidth of 76.6 GB/s. Cache configuration includes 1 MB of L2 and 12 MB of L3. In benchmarks, the device scores 2,020,032 on AnTuTu, 2213 single-core and 7325 multi-core on Geekbench 6, 15,077 on 3DMark Wild Life, and 18,706 on PCMark Work 3.0, with the PCMark battery benchmark reaching 716 minutes.

The rear camera system consists of three lenses — two 50 MP sensors with f/1.7 and f/2.6 apertures and one 8 MP sensor at f/2.2 — backed by a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, and 2.7x optical zoom. Video recording reaches up to 4K at 60 fps, with slow-motion and timelapse modes also supported. Autofocus options include phase-detection, continuous autofocus during recording, and touch autofocus, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance; laser autofocus, manual shutter speed, and RAW capture are not available. The dual-tone LED flash uses two LEDs, though there is no RGB flash. The 32 MP front camera sits at f/2.5, is positioned in a standard cutout rather than under the display, and is a single-lens unit with no front-facing flash. HDR mode, burst shooting, and panorama are all supported, while 360° panorama and 3D photo or video recording are not.

The device runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking — though Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. On the customization side, it supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications, widgets, and a media picker, while focus modes and app offloading are absent. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, child lock, battery health check, and device tracking, but does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor and cannot be used as a PC replacement.

The Realme GT5 Pro houses a 5400 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator built in. It supports 100W wired fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging, and a charger is included in the box. Reverse wireless charging is not available.

The device features stereo speakers and supports a wide range of Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC, covering both high-quality and adaptive wireless audio transmission. aptX Lossless is not supported. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Realme GT5 Pro supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with wireless networking covering Wi-Fi 4 through Wi-Fi 7 (802.11n/ac/ax/be). Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are both present, and the USB Type-C port runs on USB 3.2. Maximum download speeds reach 10,000 Mbits/s with upload speeds up to 3,500 Mbits/s, though there is no external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. The sensor set includes a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, and an infrared sensor, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, 3D facial recognition, iris scanner, and built-in projector are all absent. Crash detection, satellite SOS, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a stylus are likewise not featured.

The device features a curved display and includes a video light for use during recording. It does not use sapphire glass for the screen, nor does it incorporate an e-paper display.
