Realme Narzo 90

The Realme Narzo 90 has a conventional, non-folding form factor measuring 158.4 mm tall, 75.4 mm wide, and just 7.8 mm thick, with a total volume of 93.158208 cm³ and a weight of 181 g. One of its more notable physical attributes is its IP68 ingress protection rating, which classifies it as waterproof and supports submersion down to 2 metres. That said, it does not feature a rugged build, so while it handles water exposure well within rated conditions, it is not designed for heavy-duty or impact-resistant use.

The Realme Narzo 90 features a 6.57″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2372 px and a pixel density of 397 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp visual experience. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 1000 nits, making content comfortably visible in well-lit conditions. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen present.

The Realme Narzo 90 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with a CPU configuration of 2 cores at 2.5 GHz and 6 cores at 2 GHz using big.LITTLE technology, alongside multithreading support for handling concurrent workloads. Graphics are managed by the integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU running at 950 MHz, which supports DirectX 12 and drives a single display. The device comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz and 128 GB of internal storage, while the maximum memory bandwidth reaches 17.1 GB/s. The SoC is 64-bit compatible, includes integrated LTE, and the overall platform supports full 64-bit processing.

The Realme Narzo 90 carries a single-lens 50 MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a CMOS sensor, supporting phase-detection autofocus for stills, continuous autofocus during video, and touch autofocus. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, panorama, slow-motion video, and timelapse round out the shooting options. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 60 fps, though there is no optical image stabilization, no optical zoom, no RAW output, no manual shutter speed control, and no support for HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. A single LED flash is present, but there is no dual-tone or RGB flash. The front camera also resolves at 50 MP with an f/2.4 aperture and is a single-lens unit without a front-facing flash or an under-display placement, and it does not support 3D photo or video capture.

The Realme Narzo 90 runs Android 15, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. On the privacy front, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. Customization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while notification permissions and customizable notifications give users control over how alerts are handled. Additional capabilities include on-device machine learning, Live Text, full-page screenshots, a media picker, offline voice recognition, voice commands, battery health check, app offloading, child lock, and device position tracking. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, direct OS vendor updates, and Quick Start are not supported, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The Realme Narzo 90 houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable battery that is non-removable and comes with a battery level indicator. It supports 60W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available on this device.

The Realme Narzo 90 features stereo speakers and supports aptX HD for higher-quality Bluetooth audio transmission, though aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Realme Narzo 90 supports 5G connectivity along with Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and accommodates two SIM cards. Bluetooth 5.3 is on board, and the device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0. A maximum download speed of 3300 MBits/s is specified, and an external memory slot is available for storage expansion. Sensors include a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, and an infrared sensor. NFC is absent, as are HDMI output, DLNA certification, ANT+ support, a barometer, a heart rate monitor, 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector. A stylus is not included.

The Realme Narzo 90 includes a video light to assist with illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device does not feature sapphire glass protection or an e-paper display.
