Realme Neo7

On the durability side, the device carries an IP68 rating, classifying it as fully waterproof and offering reliable protection against dust and water ingress in everyday conditions.

The Realme Neo7 uses an OLED/AMOLED touchscreen measuring 6.78 inches, with a resolution of 1264 x 2780 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 1600 nits, making content reasonably visible in varying lighting conditions. The display supports both HDR10 and HDR10+, though it does not support Dolby Vision and lacks an Always-On Display mode. There is no secondary screen, and the panel does not feature branded damage-resistant glass.

The Realme Neo7 is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, built on a 4 nm process with 22,700 million transistors and an octa-core CPU configuration running at 1 x 3.4 GHz, 3 x 2.85 GHz, and 4 x 2 GHz across 8 threads. It pairs with the Arm Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU clocked at 1300 MHz, supports DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, and includes integrated graphics and integrated LTE. The SoC employs big.LITTLE architecture with HMP for workload distribution, though it does not use simultaneous multithreading. Memory consists of 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 4800 MHz across 2 channels with a maximum bandwidth of 76.8 GB/s, an L2 cache of 8 MB, and an L3 cache of 18 MB, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB. Internal storage stands at 1024 GB, and benchmark results include an AnTuTu score of 2,136,863 alongside Geekbench 6 scores of 2302 single-core and 7547 multi-core. The device is fully 64-bit compatible.

The Realme Neo7 features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP sensor at f/2.2 and an 8 MP sensor at f/1.9, both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. Optical image stabilization is built in, and autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus for photos as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, while laser autofocus is absent. The main camera supports 4K video recording at 60 fps along with slow-motion capture, though HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed and RAW shooting are not supported; additional shooting modes include burst, panorama, and timelapse. A single LED flash is present on the rear — not dual-tone or RGB — while the front camera offers 16 MP at f/2.4 with no flash, no secondary lens, and is positioned conventionally rather than under the display. Neither 360-degree panorama nor 3D photo or video capture is supported.

The Realme Neo7 runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. On the customization side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Quick Start are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they download; using the device as a PC is not supported. The system also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user support, a child lock, app offloading, battery health check, and an extra dim mode. OS updates do not arrive directly from the vendor, and Wi-Fi password sharing is not supported.

The Realme Neo7 is equipped with a 7000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 80W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it straightforward to monitor charge status. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme Neo7 includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so wired audio requires an adapter or Bluetooth connection. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec standards are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. The device also lacks a built-in radio tuner.

The Realme Neo7 supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with cellular download speeds reaching 10,000 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 7,000 Mbits/s. Wi-Fi coverage spans four standards — Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) — while Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC round out the wireless options. The USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0 speeds, and there is no external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. For navigation, the device includes GPS with Galileo support alongside a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, though a barometer is absent. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner; 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, and a stylus are not included. An infrared sensor is present, but the device lacks a heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, a built-in projector, crash detection, satellite SOS, and motion or optical tracking capabilities.

The Realme Neo7 includes a video light, which can be used as a torch during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
