Realme Neo7 SE

The Realme Neo7 SE has a conventional, non-folding form factor measuring 162.5 × 76.3 × 8.6 mm with a volume of 106.63 cm³ and a weight of 212 g. One of its more notable physical attributes is its IP68 ingress protection rating, which classifies it as fully waterproof against dust and water immersion. The device does not feature a rugged build, so while it offers solid environmental protection through its IP certification, it is not constructed to meet dedicated rugged device standards.

The Realme Neo7 SE uses an OLED/AMOLED touchscreen panel measuring 6.78″ with a resolution of 1264 × 2780 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 1,600 nits, with HDR10 compatibility for supported content. The display does not support HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or Always-On Display functionality, and there is no branded damage-resistant glass covering nor a secondary screen.

The Realme Neo7 SE is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 1 × 3.25 GHz, 3 × 3 GHz, and 4 × 2.15 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE and HMP scheduling for workload distribution. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G720 MC7 GPU clocked at 1,300 MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chipset is paired with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 4,267 MHz across 4 memory channels, delivering a maximum memory bandwidth of 68.2 GB/s, while the device supports up to 24 GB maximum memory and comes with 512 GB of internal storage. Cache consists of 1 MB L2 and 6 MB L3 at 6 MB per core. On the benchmark side, it achieves an AnTuTu score of 1,884,673, a Geekbench 6 multi-core result of 6,033, and a single-core score of 1,571. Security features include NX bit and TrustZone support, and the chipset is fully 64-bit compatible.

The Realme Neo7 SE features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP lens at f/2.2 and an 8 MP lens at f/1.8, both using CMOS sensors, with optical image stabilization and phase-detection autofocus for stills alongside continuous and touch autofocus during video recording. The main camera supports 4K recording at 2160 × 60 fps, slow-motion video, timelapse, HDR mode, burst shooting, panorama, and a range of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed is not available. It uses a single LED flash and does not include a dual-tone or RGB flash, and there is no optical zoom. On the front, a 16 MP single-lens camera with an f/2.4 aperture handles selfies; it has no dedicated flash, is not positioned under the display, and does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, nor does either camera offer 3D photo or video capture or 360-degree panorama shooting.

The Realme Neo7 SE runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though it does not offer Mail Privacy Protection or cross-site tracking blocking. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, app offloading, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text selection, phone tracking, multi-user accounts, a child lock, and battery health monitoring. OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor, and the device cannot function as a PC replacement. Wi-Fi password sharing is likewise not supported.

The Realme Neo7 SE is equipped with a 7,000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 80 W wired fast charging. A battery level indicator is available, making it straightforward to monitor charge status. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme Neo7 SE includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so wired audio requires an adapter or USB-C headphones. None of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported, and the device does not have a built-in radio.

The Realme Neo7 SE supports 5G connectivity with a dual-SIM cellular module and is compatible with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), alongside Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. It offers a maximum download speed of 5,170 Mbit/s and connects via USB Type-C, though there is no external memory slot or HDMI output. For location, it includes GPS with Galileo support and a compass, while onboard sensors cover a gyroscope, accelerometer, and infrared sensor; a barometer is not present. Biometric security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not featured. The device does not support ANT+, DLNA, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion or optical tracking, and no stylus is included.

The Realme Neo7 SE includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
