Realme Neo7x

The Realme Neo7x has a non-folding, non-rugged form factor measuring 163.2 mm tall, 75.7 mm wide, and just 8 mm thick, with a total weight of 194 g and a volume of 98.83 cm³. Despite the slim profile, it carries a full IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it is well-protected against water ingress in everyday conditions.

The Realme Neo7x features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1080 x 2400 px resolution and a pixel density of 395 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp visual experience. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion, though it does not include Always-On Display functionality, branded damage-resistant glass, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Realme Neo7x is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at up to 2.3 GHz using big.LITTLE technology, and paired with an Adreno 810 GPU clocked at 800 MHz with DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2 support. It comes with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 2750 MHz, a maximum supported memory amount of 16 GB, and a maximum memory bandwidth of 12 GB/s, alongside 512 GB of internal storage. The chipset includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, and ARM TrustZone security, operates at a TDP of 7W, supports 64-bit processing, and the device records an AnTuTu benchmark score of 684,046.

The Realme Neo7x features a single-lens 50 MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a CMOS sensor, and optical image stabilization, capable of recording 4K video at 30 fps along with slow-motion footage, though it lacks a BSI sensor and has no optical zoom. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, while laser autofocus is not present. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed is not available, and shooting modes include HDR, burst, panorama, and timelapse. A single LED flash is fitted at the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option. The 16 MP front camera sits at f/2.4 in a standard screen cutout — it has no flash, no dual-lens arrangement, and is not positioned under the display. Neither HDR10 recording nor Dolby Vision recording is supported, and 3D or 360-degree capture is not available on either camera.

The Realme Neo7x runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering location access, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Customization options span dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, and home screen widgets, while productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, customizable notifications, an extra dim mode, a battery health check, app offloading, multi-user support, Live Text, child lock, and device position tracking. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not available, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Realme Neo7x is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 45W fast charging, and a battery level indicator is present to keep the user informed of remaining charge. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme Neo7x includes stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, covering the basics for both wired and speaker-based audio output. However, it does not support any high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent — and there is no built-in radio.

The Realme Neo7x supports 5G connectivity with download speeds of up to 2900 MBits/s and upload speeds of up to 1600 MBits/s, and accommodates two SIM cards. Wireless networking is handled via Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), while Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC are also on board. The device connects via USB Type-C but has no external memory slot, no HDMI output, and is not DLNA-certified. For navigation and sensing, it includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, and an infrared sensor, though a barometer, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ support are absent. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available. Emergency SOS via satellite, crash detection, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are likewise not featured, and no stylus is included.

The Realme Neo7x includes a video light for illuminating footage during recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
