Realme P1 5G

It weighs 188 g, which places it in a typical range for smartphones of this screen size. The device does not feature a rugged build and carries no water resistance rating, meaning it offers no certified protection against moisture or dust exposure.

The Realme P1 5G features a 6.67-inch OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 395 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp visual experience. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 600 nits, making it suitable for general indoor and outdoor use. However, the display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, lacks an Always-On Display mode, and does not include branded damage-resistant glass. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Realme P1 5G is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050, a 6 nm octa-core chipset configured with 2 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and 6 cores at 2 GHz, using big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing for balanced workload distribution. It is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 3200 MHz across 4 memory channels, with support for up to 16 GB, and 256 GB of internal storage. Graphics are handled by the Mali G68 MP4 GPU, which features 4 execution units, 64 shading units, a base clock of 950 MHz, and a turbo frequency of 900 MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The SoC integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, multithreading across 8 threads, NX bit, ARM TrustZone, and has a thermal design power of 5W, while Geekbench 6 scores come in at 936 single-core and 2257 multi-core. The chip also includes a 2 MB L3 cache.

The Realme P1 5G comes with a dual-lens rear camera system comprising a 50 MP primary sensor at f/1.8 and a 2 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using a CMOS sensor type without back-illuminated sensor technology. The main camera supports phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, burst mode, HDR, panorama, timelapse, slow-motion recording, and a range of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, manual shutter speed, and RAW capture are not available. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 60 fps, with no support for HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. The rear flash is a single dual-tone LED unit without RGB capability. The Realme P1 5G runs Android 14 and includes a solid set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the usability side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, extra dim mode, customizable notifications, a media picker, full-page screenshots, split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, sharing intents, widgets, a child lock, and multi-user support. It also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, phone tracking, and the ability to play games while they download. Features such as focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not included, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Realme P1 5G houses a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 45W fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it straightforward to monitor remaining charge at a glance. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme P1 5G includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, covering the basics for both wired listening and built-in audio output. However, it does not support any high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent — and there is no built-in radio.

The Realme P1 5G offers a well-rounded connectivity setup, featuring 5G support, Wi-Fi 4/5/6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS with Galileo satellite support, all alongside a dual SIM configuration. The onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, while biometric security is covered by a fingerprint scanner. There is no external memory slot, HDMI output, infrared sensor, barometer, heart rate monitor, or ANT+ support, and the device does not include 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, a stylus, DLNA certification, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, or any motion or optical tracking capabilities.

The Realme P1 5G includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate scenes during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
