The Realme P2 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1080 x 2412 px resolution and a pixel density of 394 ppi, delivering a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and a typical brightness of 600 nits. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate paired with a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and includes an Always-On Display mode. The screen does not incorporate branded damage-resistant glass and lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, while there is no secondary screen present.

The Realme P2 Pro 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 4 x 2.4 GHz and 4 x 1.95 GHz, a turbo clock of 2.4 GHz, and a TDP of 5W. The SoC employs big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, 8 threads, and 64-bit compatibility, scoring 1015 in Geekbench 6 single-core and 2970 multi-core. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 710 GPU clocked at 940 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM runs at 3200 MHz across 2 memory channels with a maximum bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s, and the chipset supports up to 16 GB of RAM in total, alongside 128 GB of internal storage. Additional hardware-level features include integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and multithreading support.

The Realme P2 Pro 5G features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP primary sensor (f/2.2) and a 2 MP secondary sensor (f/1.9), both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. The main camera supports optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and slow-motion recording, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is absent. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps, with no support for HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, and optical zoom is not available. The Realme P2 Pro 5G runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Usability features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, phone tracking, and a battery health check, but it does not offer Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, or the ability to function as a PC. OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Realme P2 Pro 5G is equipped with a 5200 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, and a battery level indicator is included. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme P2 Pro 5G includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and does not have a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec standards — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Realme P2 Pro 5G supports 5G cellular connectivity with download speeds up to 2900 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 1500 Mbits/s, accommodates two SIM cards, and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) as well as Bluetooth 5.2. Wired connectivity is provided through a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, while HDMI output is absent and there is no external memory slot. NFC is not included, and the device lacks DLNA certification, ANT+ support, an infrared sensor, and satellite emergency SOS. For navigation and motion sensing, it features GPS with Galileo support, a compass, a gyroscope, and an accelerometer, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are not present. Biometric security is handled by a fingerprint scanner; 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not supported. Crash detection is also absent, and no stylus is included.

The Realme P2 Pro 5G features a curved display and includes a video light, while it does not use sapphire glass and has no e-paper display.
