It is rated IP54, meaning the device provides measurable resistance to dust ingress and low-pressure water splashes, though it is not built to rugged standards.

The Realme P4 Lite features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi, paired with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The panel is protected by branded damage-resistant glass, though it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and there is no secondary screen present.

The Realme P4 Lite is driven by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, fabricated on a 12 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 1.8 GHz and 6 x 1.6 GHz using big.LITTLE technology across 8 threads, alongside a Mali G57 GPU clocked at 850 MHz with 2 execution units and 64 shading units supporting OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The device comes with 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 1866 MHz and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the platform supporting a maximum of 12 GB of memory. The SoC integrates LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit processing with multithreading support, and has a thermal design power of 10W and 1 MB of L3 cache. In Geekbench 6, the chipset scores 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core, while Geekbench 5 results stand at 357 single-core and 1350 multi-core.

The Realme P4 Lite carries a single 13 MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a CMOS sensor, supporting phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and manual controls for exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and manual shutter speed are absent. It can record video at 1080p 30fps with slow-motion support, while HDR mode, burst shooting, panorama, and timelapse are all available; HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported, nor is 3D or 360-degree capture. The rear flash consists of a single LED unit without dual-tone or RGB functionality. On the front, a 5 MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture handles selfies, though it lacks a dedicated flash, sits above the display rather than beneath it, and is a single-lens setup with no RAW output available on either camera.

The Realme P4 Lite runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls covering location access, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. On the productivity side, the OS accommodates multi-user profiles, child lock, app offloading, live text selection from images, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking, along with on-device machine learning and a battery health check tool. Games can be launched while still downloading, and the platform is free and open source; however, direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and the device cannot function as a PC.

The Realme P4 Lite is equipped with a 6300 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 15W wired fast charging and includes a battery level indicator. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available on this device.

The Realme P4 Lite includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, making it compatible with wired audio accessories, but it lacks stereo speakers, offering only a single-speaker setup. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codecs are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent — and the device does not feature a built-in radio.

The Realme P4 Lite supports dual SIM cards and connects via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.2, and a cellular module with download speeds of up to 300 Mbits/s and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbits/s, though 5G is not supported. The device uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and includes an external memory slot for storage expansion, while HDMI output and DLNA certification are absent. For biometric security, a fingerprint scanner is present, but 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available, and no stylus is included. The sensor suite covers GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, infrared sensor, and motion or optical tracking are all absent. NFC is not supported, and features such as satellite SOS, crash detection, and ANT+ are likewise unavailable.

The Realme P4 Lite includes a video light for use during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
