Realme P4x (128GB / 8GB RAM)

The Realme P4x has a standard candy-bar form factor — it does not fold and is not built to rugged standards. It measures 165.9 mm tall, 76 mm wide, and 8.4 mm thick, with a total volume of roughly 105.91 cm³ and a weight of 208 g. For everyday handling, it carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand water splashes from any direction, giving it a practical level of water resistance for daily use.

The Realme P4x uses an IPS LCD touchscreen measuring 6.72″ with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 392 ppi, delivering reasonably sharp visuals across its large panel. Its 144Hz refresh rate ensures smooth motion during scrolling and on-screen interactions, and the display is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. The screen does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

The Realme P4x is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400, a 4 nm chipset built on an octa-core big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) support, running four cores at 2.6 GHz and four at 2.0 GHz across 8 threads. It is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400 MHz, with a maximum supported memory amount of 16 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G615 MC2 GPU, clocked at 1047 MHz, which supports DirectX 12 and drives a single display. The SoC is built with 6,200 million transistors, supports 64-bit processing, includes integrated LTE, and the device comes with 128 GB of internal storage.

The Realme P4x features a single-lens rear camera with a 50 MP CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, supported by phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though it lacks laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, and a back-illuminated sensor. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording support, but slow-motion capture is available. The rear flash setup consists of two LED units, though they do not form a dual-tone or RGB configuration. Manual controls include exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas round out the feature set — though raw shooting and manual shutter speed are not supported. On the front, there is a single-lens 8 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture; it has no LED flash, sits in a standard position above the display, and does not support 360-degree panoramas or 3D capture.

The Realme P4x runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. On the customization side, it supports dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, an extra dim mode, home screen widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. Usability features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text selection, the ability to play games while they download, and app offloading. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, a child lock, multi-user access, and battery health monitoring. OS updates are not delivered directly by the vendor, and the device cannot be used as a PC or share Wi-Fi passwords.

The Realme P4x is equipped with a 7000 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery, and a battery level indicator is on hand to keep track of remaining charge. It supports 45W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available on this device.

The Realme P4x includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so wired audio requires an adapter or USB-C headphones. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec options are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. There is also no built-in radio.

The Realme P4x supports dual SIM cards and connects via Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6, along with Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type-C port, though it does not offer 5G, NFC, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. For positioning, it includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, and an accelerometer, while a gyroscope, barometer, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are all absent. Biometric security is handled by a fingerprint scanner; 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present, and no stylus is included. The device has a cellular module but lacks an infrared sensor, ANT+ support, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, and a built-in projector.

The Realme P4x includes a video light for illumination during video recording. Its display is flat rather than curved, uses no e-paper technology, and is not protected by sapphire glass.
