The Realme P4x measures 165.9 mm tall, 76 mm wide, and 8.4 mm thin, with a total volume of 105.91 cm³ and a weight of 208 g. It carries an IP64 rating, meaning it offers solid protection against dust and water splashes, making it water resistant in everyday conditions. The phone does not feature a rugged build and cannot be folded, so it follows a standard, flat smartphone form factor.

The Realme P4x features a 6.72″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 392 ppi, delivering reasonably sharp visuals across its large panel. Its 144Hz refresh rate ensures fluid on-screen motion, and the display is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. The screen does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display function or secondary screen present.

The Realme P4x is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, built on a 4 nm process with 6,200 million transistors, and configured as an octa-core processor running four cores at 2.6 GHz and four at 2.0 GHz across 8 threads, utilizing big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing for efficient workload distribution. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G615 MC2 GPU clocked at 1047 MHz, supporting DirectX 12 and driving a single display. The chip integrates LTE and comes paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400 MHz, a maximum memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s, and a maximum supported memory capacity of 16 GB, alongside 256 GB of internal storage. The platform is fully 64-bit compatible.

The main camera on the Realme P4x uses a single-lens 50 MP CMOS sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and a two-LED flash, though it does not include optical image stabilization, a BSI sensor, or laser autofocus. It records video at 1080p 30 fps with continuous autofocus during recording and supports slow-motion capture, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, and shooting modes include burst, panorama, and timelapse, though raw capture and manual shutter speed are absent. The 8 MP front camera sits behind an f/2.0 aperture and is a single-lens unit without a front-facing flash or an under-display placement, and 3D photo and video recording is not supported on either camera.

The Realme P4x runs Android 15 and ships with a broad set of privacy controls, including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are unavailable. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, widgets, sharing intents, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while they download. On-device machine learning is supported alongside offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking, and the system accommodates multiple user accounts and app offloading. OS updates are not delivered directly by the vendor, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The Realme P4x is equipped with a 7000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported, and the battery is not removable.

The Realme P4x includes stereo speakers but does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec options are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Realme P4x supports dual SIM cards and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6 alongside Bluetooth 5.4, though 5G, NFC, ANT+, and DLNA are not available. A USB Type-C port handles wired connectivity, while HDMI output is absent. For location, the device includes GPS with Galileo support and a compass, and an accelerometer is present, but there is no gyroscope, barometer, or motion and optical tracking. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not included, and no stylus ships with the device. Satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, a heart rate monitor, and an infrared sensor are all absent, as is a built-in projector.

The Realme P4x includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
