Realme V60 Pro

The Realme V60 Pro has a slim profile at just 8 mm thick and weighs 197 g, making it a reasonably compact handset for its size. A notable design highlight is its IP68 ingress protection rating, which classifies it as waterproof and capable of withstanding submersion. It is not a rugged device in the traditional sense, and it does not feature a folding form factor.

The Realme V60 Pro features a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smoother motion during scrolling and everyday interactions. The resolution sits at 720 x 1604 px, translating to a pixel density of 264 ppi. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision. There is no Always-On Display mode, and the device has a single screen with no secondary panel.

The Realme V60 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, fabricated on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2.4 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz, supported by big.LITTLE architecture and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing. It is paired with 12 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz and 512 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 12 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 17.07 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, with DirectX 12 support. The SoC supports 64-bit processing, multithreading across 8 threads, and includes integrated LTE. Cache is organized across three levels — 512 KB L1, 1 MB L2, and 2 MB L3 — and Geekbench 6 results come in at 782 single-core and 2012 multi-core.

The Realme V60 Pro features a single-lens 50 MP rear camera built on a CMOS sensor, without a back-illuminated sensor or optical image stabilization. Autofocus options include phase-detection autofocus for photos and continuous autofocus during video recording, as well as touch autofocus, though laser autofocus is absent. Manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, while manual shutter speed is not available. The camera supports HDR mode, burst shooting, panorama, timelapse, and slow-motion video recording, but does not shoot in RAW format, nor does it support 360° panoramas, HDR10 recording, or Dolby Vision recording. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. On the front, an 8 MP single-lens camera is available without a front-facing flash or under-display placement. Neither 3D photo and video recording nor any front or rear multi-lens configuration is supported.

The Realme V60 Pro runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering location access, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. On the customization side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, phone tracking, a child lock, multi-user accounts, and a battery health check. Wi-Fi password sharing and Quick Start are not supported, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor, nor can it function as a PC.

The Realme V60 Pro is equipped with a 5600 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 45W fast wired charging, allowing for quicker top-ups compared to standard charging speeds. A battery level indicator is present, keeping the user informed of remaining charge. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme V60 Pro has a notably limited audio feature set. It does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack or stereo speakers, and there is no built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec options are supported, meaning aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Realme V60 Pro supports dual SIM cards and connects via Wi-Fi, GPS, Galileo, and a cellular module, though 5G is not supported. It uses a USB Type-C port running USB version 2 and achieves a maximum download speed of 3300 MBits/s. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and iris scanning are absent. NFC is not included, nor are DLNA certification, ANT+ support, an infrared sensor, a barometer, or an HDMI output. On the sensor side, an accelerometer is present, but motion tracking, optical tracking, and a heart rate monitor are not. Additional features such as satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, a built-in projector, and a stylus are also not part of the device's feature set.

The Realme V60 Pro includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate subjects during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and does not use sapphire glass or e-paper technology.
