Rogbid Model R

The Rogbid Model R features a 1.85″ always-on touchscreen with a 400 × 400 px resolution and a pixel density of 305 ppi, housed in a square 52 × 52 mm body. The watch carries an IP67 rating, meaning it is water resistant and can handle submersion under defined conditions. The band is user-replaceable, offering some flexibility in customization, though the display does not use branded damage-resistant glass or sapphire glass. Operating temperatures range from 0 °C at the lower end to a maximum of 45 °C, and the watch is not designed specifically for children.

The Rogbid Model R includes a heart rate monitor and a pulse oximeter for tracking cardiovascular activity and blood oxygen levels, alongside an accelerometer for motion detection. It does not feature a gyroscope, barometer, compass, cadence sensor, body temperature sensor, or perspiration monitor, and GPS is also absent from its sensor lineup.

The Rogbid Model R covers a broad range of everyday activity tracking, including steps, distance, pace, and elevation, while also monitoring sleep and generating detailed sleep reports. It detects activities automatically, supports exercise tagging, features a route tracker, and logs calorie intake for a more complete picture of daily health habits. Multi-sport mode is not available, and the watch is not designed for diving or golf.

The Rogbid Model R supports a solid range of connectivity options, including a cellular module with a single SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and supports the Galileo satellite system. ANT+ is not supported.

The Rogbid Model R is equipped with a 1100 mAh rechargeable battery rated for up to two days of use, and it supports wireless charging, eliminating the need for a physical cable connection. The battery is not removable and there is no solar charging option available.

The Rogbid Model R packs a notable set of features for a smartwatch, including 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, along with a 2 MP camera with a remote shutter function, though there is no front camera. On the health side, it measures VO2 max, resting heart rate, and provides fast/slow heart rate notifications, while ECG technology and irregular heart rate warnings are not available. Communication features include the ability to answer calls, manage call control, receive wrist notifications, and use voice commands, and the watch also offers a silent alarm, vibrating alerts, a stopwatch, and a phone-finder function. Smart alarm and fast GPS lock are not supported.

The companion app for the Rogbid Model R is free and ad-free, and it requires an account to use. It offers a wide range of tracking and management tools, including activity reports, calorie counting, exercise diary, goal setting, achievements, inactivity alerts, water intake tracking, and weight tracking. The app supports widgets, calendar sync, music playback, maps, a barcode scanner, and can be personalised to suit individual preferences. Coaching, temperature tracking, route support, and email export are not available.

The Rogbid Model R includes a battery level indicator and supports passcode protection for basic security. It does not have an external memory slot, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and is not compatible with Windows or Mac OS X.
