RugOne Xever 7 Pro

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro features a rugged build with an IP69 ingress protection rating and a waterproof depth rating of 2 meters, making it fully resistant to water exposure. The device is not foldable and measures 173.6 mm in height, 84.4 mm in width, and 14.1 mm in thickness, with a total volume of 206.59 cm³. It weighs 325 g, reflecting the reinforced construction typical of its rugged design.

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro uses an OLED/AMOLED touchscreen measuring 6.67″ with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 395 ppi. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 500 nits, while Gorilla Glass 3 provides branded damage-resistant protection over the surface. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen present on the device.

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro is built around the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset, manufactured on a 6 nm process with a CPU configuration of 2 x 2.5 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz cores using big.LITTLE technology with HMP support. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 2750 MHz across 4 memory channels, a maximum memory capacity of 16GB, and a maximum memory bandwidth of 51.2 GB/s, alongside 512GB of internal storage expandable up to 2048GB. Graphics are handled by the IMG BXM-8-256 GPU clocked at 900 MHz, with 18 shading units, OpenCL 2.0 support, DirectX 12 compatibility, and integrated graphics on the SoC. The chipset also includes integrated LTE, supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, and the NX bit for hardware-level security. Geekbench 6 scores come in at 884 single-core and 2291 multi-core, while Geekbench 5 results are 690 single-core and 1890 multi-core.

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro features a dual-lens main camera combining 64 MP and 50 MP sensors with apertures of f/1.9 and f/1.8 respectively, backed by a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording. The main camera supports video recording at 1440 x 30 fps, slow-motion capture, timelapse, HDR mode, burst mode, panorama, and a range of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed, RAW output, laser autofocus, 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Flash is provided by two LED units, though they do not form a dual-tone configuration, and there is no RGB flash. The 32 MP front camera sits at an aperture of f/2.5, is mounted in a standard position rather than under the display, uses a single lens, and does not have a dedicated front-facing flash.

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro runs Android 15, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, and device position tracking. Privacy controls cover clipboard warnings, location access management, and camera and microphone permissions, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, extra dim mode, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, and the ability to select text from images. Users can also offload apps, monitor battery health, block app tracking, and play games while they are still downloading. Focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to use the device as a PC are not supported, and OS updates do not come directly from the platform vendor.

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro is equipped with a 5500 mAh removable and rechargeable battery that supports 33W fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to monitor remaining charge at a glance. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro includes a 3.5 mm audio jack and a built-in radio, offering wired headphone connectivity alongside over-the-air listening. The device does not feature stereo speakers, and none of the high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and accommodates two physical SIM cards plus one eSIM. Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC are both present, and the device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, with a maximum download speed of 2770 MBits/s. An external memory slot adds storage flexibility, while a fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication — 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available. The sensor suite includes a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, barometer, GPS, Galileo satellite navigation, and an infrared sensor, though motion tracking, optical tracking, a heart rate monitor, and ANT+ support are absent. HDMI output, DLNA certification, satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, a built-in projector, and a stylus are not part of the device's feature set.

The RugOne Xever 7 Pro includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper display are featured on the device.
