The Samsung Galaxy F05 uses an LCD touchscreen measuring 6.7 inches, delivering a resolution of 720 x 1600 px at a pixel density of 262 ppi. The panel does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, so advanced high-dynamic-range content rendering is not available. There is no Always-On Display mode and no secondary screen on this device.

Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G52 MC2 GPU, clocked at 1000 MHz with turbo support at the same frequency, compatible with DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. In benchmarking, the chipset scores 424 in Geekbench 6 single-core and 1322 in multi-core, and the platform fully supports 64-bit processing.

The Samsung Galaxy F05 features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP primary sensor at f/1.8 and a 2 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Autofocus is handled through phase-detection and touch AF, with continuous autofocus available during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. The rear camera supports a solid range of manual controls — including ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance — along with HDR mode, burst shooting, panorama, slow-motion video, and timelapse, while optical zoom, raw capture, manual shutter speed, 360° panorama, HDR10 recording, and Dolby Vision recording are not available. The OS supports dynamic theming and theme customization, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications with a media picker, full-page scrolling screenshots, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, a child lock, and a multi-user system. It also includes on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, phone tracking, battery health check, and the ability to play games while they are downloading. However, focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, the ability to function as a PC, and direct OS vendor updates are not supported.

The Samsung Galaxy F05 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 25W wired fast charging. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to keep track of remaining charge at a glance. Wireless charging is not available on this device.

The Samsung Galaxy F05 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, allowing wired audio accessories to be used directly. The device does not feature stereo speakers, relying instead on a mono speaker setup.
