Sharp Aquos Sense 10

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 has a non-folding, standard-form design measuring 149 x 73 x 8.9 mm with a volume of 96.8053 cm³ and a weight of 166 g. It carries an IP68 Ingress Protection rating, classifying it as waterproof, though it does not feature a rugged build.

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 features a 6.1″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 px and a pixel density of 422 ppi. Its 240Hz refresh rate and typical brightness of 1500 nits make for a fluid and well-lit viewing experience, while the Always-On Display keeps essential information visible at all times. The screen does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and does not include branded damage-resistant glass or a secondary screen.

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 1 x 2.5, 3 x 2.4, and 4 x 1.8 GHz across 8 threads, utilizing big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) for efficient workload distribution. It is paired with 8 GB of DDR5 RAM at 3200 MHz and 256 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 16 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 710 GPU clocked at 1050 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, with 128 shading units. The chipset also integrates LTE, TrustZone security, and multithreading support, operates at a TDP of 5W, and achieves Geekbench 6 scores of 1162 single-core and 3239 multi-core, alongside Geekbench 5 results of 893 single-core and 3242 multi-core.

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 features a dual 50 MP rear camera system with apertures of f/2.2 and f/1.9, backed by a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, and touch autofocus, though it lacks a back-illuminated sensor and laser autofocus. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, slow-motion video, timelapse, and in-camera panorama round out the shooting options — however, manual shutter speed, RAW capture, 360° panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D photo/video are not supported. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash available. On the front, a 32 MP single-lens camera with an f/2.2 aperture and continuous autofocus handles selfies and video calls, but has no dedicated flash, does not sit under the display, and is not accompanied by a secondary lens.

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 runs Android 16, a free and open-source platform that supports multiple user accounts and includes a broad set of privacy controls — among them location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. Customization is well covered through dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, extra dim mode, customizable notifications, and widget support, while productivity is aided by split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, battery health checks, app offloading, phone tracking, and a child lock, but does not include focus modes, Quick Start, or the ability to function as a PC, and it does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 36W fast charging, and includes a battery level indicator for easy monitoring. The battery is non-removable and does not support wireless charging.

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 includes stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired listening. Bluetooth audio is supported through aptX and aptX Adaptive, though aptX HD, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available. The device does not have a built-in radio.

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with download speeds reaching up to 2900 Mbit/s. Wireless networking covers Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6E, while Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC are also on board. Wired connectivity is handled by a USB Type-C 3.2 port, and an external memory slot provides additional storage flexibility. For navigation and sensing, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, though it lacks a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ support. Security is managed through a fingerprint scanner; 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. The device does not include HDMI output, a built-in projector, motion or optical tracking, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA certification, or a stylus.

The Sharp Aquos Sense 10 includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper display.
