The Skullcandy Hesh 360 uses an over-ear fit and weighs 249 g, making it a manageable option for extended wear. It features a foldable design, which aids portability and storage. The headphone comes with a detachable, tangle-free cable and houses stereo speakers in a closed-back configuration. It is not designed for children and carries no water resistance rating.
The Hesh 360 uses 40 mm drivers covering a full 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz frequency range, with an impedance of 32 Ohms and a sound pressure level of 119.4 dB/mW. The drivers do not use a neodymium magnet. Passive noise reduction is included, helping to block ambient sound without active processing, as active noise cancellation is not supported. Spatial audio is likewise absent from the feature set.
The Hesh 360 is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery rated for 100 hours of battery life, charged via USB Type-C. A battery level indicator lets users keep track of remaining charge at a glance. The battery is not removable, and the headphone supports neither wireless charging nor solar power.
The Hesh 360 supports both wireless and wired connection, with the wireless side handled by Bluetooth 5.3 at a maximum range of 10 m. Fast pairing is available for quicker device setup, while NFC pairing is not supported. On the codec front, the headphone does not include aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, AAC, LDAC, LDHC, Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast — meaning it relies on standard Bluetooth audio transmission only.
The Hesh 360 can be used as a headset and includes an ambient sound mode for environmental awareness during use. Controls are placed on the earcup itself, while an in-line control panel is not provided. The headphone supports multipoint connection across two devices simultaneously, allowing it to stay paired with more than one source at a time. In/on-ear detection and a dedicated mute function are not part of the feature set.
The Hesh 360 includes a find device feature, which can help locate the headphone when misplaced.
