The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3P Wireless uses an over-ear fit and a closed-back design, which helps with passive sound isolation during use. It weighs 260 g and comes with a 0.3 m cable for wired connectivity when needed. The headset does not include RGB lighting or stereo speakers.
The headset's two 40 mm neodymium drivers cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 22,000 Hz and deliver a sound pressure level of 107 dB/mW at an impedance of 36 Ohms. Passive noise reduction is included to help block out ambient sound, though active noise cancellation is not available. There is no hardware surround sound, but spatial audio is supported, adding positional awareness to compatible content. Surround sound modes are absent from the feature set.
The headset includes a single removable noise-canceling microphone that can be detached when not in use. It operates across a frequency range of 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz and has a sensitivity of -12 dBV/Pa, giving a clear indication of its pickup characteristics for voice communication.
The headset runs on a built-in rechargeable battery rated for up to 40 hours of use, and a battery level indicator lets users keep track of remaining charge. The battery is not removable, so charging is handled directly through the device rather than by swapping cells.
The headset supports both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3, with a maximum Bluetooth range of 10 m, and is compatible with PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. A USB Type-C port is available for charging and wired use. On the Bluetooth side, advanced codec support is absent — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, AAC, LDAC, LDHC, LE Audio, and Auracast are all unsupported. NFC pairing and fast pairing are likewise not included.
The headset includes an on-device control panel for convenient in-use adjustments and can function as a headset for voice communication. It does not feature a vibration function.
