T-Mobile REVVL 7

The T-Mobile REVVL 7 has a standard slate form factor — it does not fold and lacks a rugged build. It measures 167.4 mm tall, 77.5 mm wide, and 9.1 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 118.06 cm³. The device weighs 206 g, placing it on the heavier side of typical smartphone builds at this screen size.

The REVVL 7 uses an OLED/AMOLED touchscreen measuring 6.58″ with a 1080 x 2408 px resolution and a pixel density of 401 ppi, complemented by a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and motion. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or branded damage-resistant glass. There is also no secondary screen on this device.

The REVVL 7 is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a 4 nm octa-core chip configured as four cores at 2.2 GHz and four at 1.8 GHz, using big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) for efficient workload distribution across its 8 threads. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 710 GPU clocked at 800 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, with 128 shading units. The chip includes integrated LTE, ARM TrustZone security, and a TDP of 7W. The device ships with 6 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 2750 MHz across two memory channels — with a maximum supported memory of 12 GB — and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, while the memory subsystem offers up to 22 GB/s of bandwidth. Cache is arranged as 256 KB L1, 2 MB L2, and 2 MB L3. Geekbench 6 scores stand at 943 (single-core) and 2748 (multi-core).

The REVVL 7 features a triple-lens rear camera system built around a 50 MP main sensor, accompanied by two 2 MP auxiliary lenses, all using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. The main camera records video at up to 1440 x 30 fps and supports slow-motion recording, but does not offer HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, nor any 3D capture. A single LED flash is present on the rear — not dual-tone or RGB — while the front camera has no flash at all. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available; additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, and in-camera panorama, while 360° panorama and RAW capture are not supported. The 8 MP front camera is a single-lens unit positioned conventionally — not under the display — and has no dedicated flash.

The REVVL 7 runs Android 14, an open-source platform that supports multiple user accounts, voice commands with offline voice recognition, on-device machine learning, and device tracking. On the privacy side, it offers camera and microphone access controls, location privacy options, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking protection and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. Customization options are well-rounded, including dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications with notification permission controls, Live Text, widgets, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. The device also includes a child lock, a battery health check tool, and phone tracking, but does not support Wi-Fi password sharing, app offloading, Quick Start, or direct OS updates from the vendor, and cannot function as a PC.

The REVVL 7 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 15W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to monitor charge status at a glance. Wireless charging is not supported.

The REVVL 7 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers for wired listening and built-in audio output. However, none of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. There is no built-in radio on this device.

The REVVL 7 supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and accommodates one physical SIM plus one eSIM. Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC are both present, and the device offers a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, with no HDMI output available. Cellular download speeds reach up to 2900 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 900 Mbits/s. For navigation, GPS and Galileo are supported. Security and biometrics are handled by a fingerprint scanner; 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not included, and no stylus is provided. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, while a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are all absent. The device has an external memory slot for storage expansion. Emergency SOS via satellite, crash detection, DLNA certification, ANT+ support, and a built-in projector are not featured.

The REVVL 7 includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
