It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers protection against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction, though it is not rated for full submersion.

The Tecno Camon 30 Premier features a 6.77″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1264 x 2780 px and a pixel density of 451 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant visual experience. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and supports Always-On Display, while being protected by Gorilla Glass 5 for added scratch and impact resistance. HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are not supported, and there is no secondary screen.

The Tecno Camon 30 Premier is driven by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with an octa-core CPU configured across three tiers — one core at 3.1 GHz, three at 3.0 GHz, and four at 2.0 GHz — using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support and a 6W TDP. It comes with 12GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6400 MHz across four memory channels, delivering a maximum memory bandwidth of 51.2 GB/s, with a ceiling of 16GB and 512GB of internal storage. The integrated Mali G610 MP6 GPU operates at 950 MHz and supports DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, while additional hardware features include an NX bit, TrustZone security, integrated LTE, 64-bit support, and a 4 MB L3 cache. In benchmarks, the device scores 905,364 on AnTuTu, 3,912 and 1,224 on Geekbench 6 multi- and single-core respectively, and 3,889 and 998 on Geekbench 5 multi- and single-core.

The Tecno Camon 30 Premier features a triple rear camera system, with each of the three lenses resolving at 50 MP — the primary at f/1.9 and the remaining two at f/2.2 — all using CMOS sensors without back-side illumination. Optical image stabilization is built in, and autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus for stills, plus continuous autofocus during video recording; laser autofocus is absent. The Tecno Camon 30 Premier houses a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator. It supports 70W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box, allowing for rapid top-ups when needed. Wireless charging is not available.

The Tecno Camon 30 Premier is equipped with stereo speakers and a built-in FM radio, but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack. None of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported, limiting high-fidelity wireless audio options.
