It carries an IP53 rating, meaning it offers a degree of protection against dust and light splashes of water, though it is not built for rugged or heavy-exposure conditions.

The Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G features a 6.78″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a 1080 x 2460 px resolution and a pixel density of 396 ppi, producing a sharp and detailed image across its large panel. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid on-screen motion, though it does not include HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode. There is no secondary screen, and the display does not use branded damage-resistant glass.

The Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080, a 6 nm octa-core chipset configured with 2 high-performance cores at 2.4 GHz and 6 efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz, using big.LITTLE technology and 8 threads with multithreading support and a 6W TDP. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz and 256GB of internal storage, with the chipset supporting up to 16GB of memory and a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.07 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 MC2 GPU, clocked at 950 MHz, featuring 2 execution units and 64 shading units with DirectX 12 support. The chip's cache hierarchy consists of 512 KB L1, 1 MB L2, and 2 MB L3 cache, and it includes integrated LTE alongside 64-bit support. In benchmarks, the device scores 767 single-core and 2057 multi-core on Geekbench 6, and 660 single-core and 1780 multi-core on Geekbench 5.
