The Tecno Spark 30C has a standard, non-folding build that measures 163.7mm tall, 75.6mm wide, and 8.55mm thick, with a weight of 191g. It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers a degree of protection against dust and water splashes, though it is not classified as a rugged device. The overall volume comes in at approximately 105.81cm³, giving it a relatively conventional smartphone footprint for its size class.

The Tecno Spark 30C features a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600px and a pixel density of 263 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which helps keep on-screen motion fluid, and reaches a typical brightness of 500 nits. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Tecno Spark 30C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, built on a 12nm process with 5,500 million transistors and an 8-thread CPU configuration using big.LITTLE technology — two cores clocked at 2GHz and six at 1.8GHz, with a turbo ceiling of 2GHz. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM running at 1800MHz across two memory channels, offering a maximum memory bandwidth of 13.41 GB/s, and supports up to 8GB total memory. The 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage can be expanded by up to 1TB via external memory. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G52 MP2 GPU, which features 2 execution units, 32 shading units, and a turbo frequency of 950MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The SoC also includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support, and carries a thermal design power of 5W. In benchmark testing, the device scores 262,145 on AnTuTu, while Geekbench 6 results come in at 420 single-core and 1,391 multi-core, with Geekbench 5 recording 350 and 1,300 respectively. Cache consists of 0.3MB of L2 and 1MB of L3.

The Tecno Spark 30C has a single-lens 50MP rear camera capable of recording video at 1080p and 30fps, supported by a dual-tone LED flash (one LED unit) and phase-detection autofocus for stills, along with continuous autofocus during video recording and touch autofocus. Manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, while HDR mode, burst shooting, and in-camera panorama are also available. The camera does not include optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, slow-motion video recording, manual shutter speed control, or the ability to shoot in RAW format, and 360-degree panorama and 3D recording are absent as well. On the front, there is an 8MP single-lens camera with an f/2.0 aperture, though it lacks a front-facing flash and is not positioned under the display. Neither the front nor rear flash uses RGB LEDs.

The Tecno Spark 30C runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of software features covering both usability and privacy. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though it does not support cross-site tracking blocking or Mail Privacy Protection. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, customizable notifications, and an extra dim mode for low-light comfort. Productivity-oriented features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. On-device machine learning is supported, as are offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, a child lock, multi-user support, and a battery health check. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not available, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Tecno Spark 30C is equipped with a 5000mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 18W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. Wireless charging is not supported. The device features a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when the charge runs low.

The Tecno Spark 30C includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers for audio output. It does not support any high-resolution Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. There is no built-in radio on this device.

The Tecno Spark 30C supports 4G LTE connectivity with dual SIM capability, reaching download speeds of up to 300 Mbits/s and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbits/s, though 5G is not supported. It includes Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, and an external memory card slot, but lacks NFC and HDMI output. For location, the device features GPS with Galileo support, complemented by a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer. An infrared sensor is also present, and a fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication — 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available. The device does not include a barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, motion or optical tracking, a built-in projector, a stylus, crash detection, or emergency SOS via satellite, and it is not DLNA-certified.

The Tecno Spark 30C includes a video light for illumination during video recording. Its display is flat rather than curved, does not use sapphire glass, and is not an e-paper panel.
