The Tecno Spark Go 2 has a non-folding, non-rugged body measuring 165.6 mm tall, 77 mm wide, and 8.3 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 105.83 cm³. A notable aspect of its design is the IP64 ingress protection rating, which certifies it as dust-tight and resistant to water splashes from any direction — a practical inclusion for a device in this category. This water resistance makes it somewhat better equipped for everyday environmental exposure than devices lacking any formal IP certification.

The Tecno Spark Go 2 features a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 263 ppi. One of its more notable display traits is the 120Hz refresh rate, which enables smoother on-screen motion during scrolling and general use. The panel does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen. It also lacks branded damage-resistant glass, meaning the screen has no certified protection against scratches or impacts from that standpoint.

The Tecno Spark Go 2 is driven by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with a TDP of 10W and an octa-core CPU configuration running two cores at 1.8 GHz and six cores at 1.6 GHz across 8 threads, utilizing big.LITTLE technology for workload distribution. It comes with 3 GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 1866 MHz and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the platform supporting a maximum of 12 GB of memory. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 GPU clocked at 850 MHz, featuring 2 execution units and 64 shading units, with support for OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The SoC supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, TrustZone security, and includes integrated LTE. Benchmark results place the chipset at 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core on Geekbench 6, and 357 single-core and 1350 multi-core on Geekbench 5. Additional hardware details include a 1 MB L3 cache and integrated graphics processing.

The Tecno Spark Go 2 carries a single 13 MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps. It supports phase-detection autofocus for stills, continuous autofocus during video recording, and touch autofocus, though laser autofocus is absent. There is no optical image stabilization and no optical zoom. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed is not available. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst mode, panorama, timelapse, and slow-motion video, while RAW capture and 360-degree panorama are not supported. Flash is provided by two LED units, though they are neither dual-tone nor RGB. On the front, an 8 MP single-lens camera handles selfies without a dedicated flash or an under-display placement. The Tecno Spark Go 2 runs Android 15 and comes with a fairly broad set of software features. On the privacy side, it includes clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are absent. Customization options cover theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes are not available. The OS supports widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, a media picker, full-page screenshots, customizable notifications, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. It also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, app offloading, a child lock, multi-user support, phone tracking, and a battery health check. Direct OS vendor updates are not provided, and Quick Start and Wi-Fi password sharing are likewise absent. The platform is noted as free and open source.

The Tecno Spark Go 2 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 15W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it straightforward to monitor charge status. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Tecno Spark Go 2 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio and a built-in radio. It does not feature stereo speakers, so audio output is limited to a single speaker. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codecs are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Tecno Spark Go 2 supports dual SIM cards and connects to cellular networks via an integrated cellular module, though 5G is not supported.
