Tecno Spark Go 3

The Tecno Spark Go 3 carries an IP67 and IP64 rating, meaning it offers a degree of protection against both dust and water ingress. While it is not built to rugged standards, this water-resistant design adds a layer of everyday durability. The phone does not feature a folding form factor, sticking instead to a conventional fixed-body construction.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 uses an IPS LCD panel measuring 6.74″ with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi, delivering a reasonably sized screen for everyday use. A 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and transitions, which is a notable inclusion at this level. The display is touch-enabled but does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On mode, and there is no branded damage-resistant glass or secondary screen present.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 is powered by an octa-core processor built on a 12 nm process node, configured in a big.LITTLE arrangement with two cores running at 1.8 GHz and six at 1.6 GHz, backed by 8 threads and a 10W TDP. It comes with 4GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 1866 MHz and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the architecture supporting a maximum memory amount of 12GB. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 GPU running at 850 MHz, featuring 2 execution units and 64 shading units, with support for OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chip integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, TrustZone security, and includes 1 MB of L3 cache, with Geekbench 6 scores of 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core reflecting its overall compute profile.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 features a single 13 MP rear camera accompanied by a single LED flash, with no optical zoom, optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, or laser autofocus on offer. On the software side, the camera supports touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video recording, HDR mode, burst mode, slow-motion video, in-camera panoramas, and manual controls for ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed and RAW shooting are not available. The front-facing 8 MP camera is a single-lens setup without a dedicated flash, and neither HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, nor 3D photo and video capture are supported across the system.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking prevention, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. Personalization options are well covered with theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications, widgets, and a media picker, while productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, device tracking, multi-user accounts, app offloading, a child lock, and a battery health check, though focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and direct OS vendor updates are not part of the feature set.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 15W wired fast charging, along with a battery level indicator for keeping track of charge status. The battery is non-removable, and neither wireless charging nor reverse wireless charging are available on this device.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio, covering the basics for wired listening and broadcast audio. It does not feature stereo speakers, and there is no support for any high-quality Bluetooth audio codec, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 connects via Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5 and supports 4G LTE cellular with download speeds of up to 300 MBits/s and upload speeds of up to 150 MBits/s, though 5G is not available. It uses a single SIM card slot alongside a USB Type-C port and an external memory slot for storage expansion. For biometrics, a fingerprint scanner is present, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not included. On the sensor side, the device offers GPS, an accelerometer, and an infrared sensor, but lacks a gyroscope, compass, barometer, heart rate monitor, and Galileo satellite support. NFC, HDMI output, ANT+, DLNA certification, crash detection, satellite SOS, a built-in projector, and a stylus are all absent from this device.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while its display is flat and standard in construction, with no curved panel, sapphire glass protection, or e-paper technology present.
