The Tozo NC3 use an in-ear fit and are fully true wireless, meaning there are no cables or neckbands involved. They carry an IPX5 rating, placing them in the water-resistant category and offering a degree of protection against sweat and splashes. Stereo speakers are present, and the earbuds include a display. Wingtips are not included, and there is no RGB lighting or UV light functionality.
The Tozo NC3 feature both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise reduction, giving them two layers of noise management during use. Audio is handled by a 12 mm driver unit with a frequency range spanning 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not include a neodymium magnet, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo processing.
The Tozo NC3 offer 13 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case extending total playback to 42 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is on hand to track remaining power. The battery is rechargeable, though wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The Tozo NC3 connect wirelessly using Bluetooth 5.3, with a maximum range of 10 m, and charge via USB Type-C. Fast pairing, NFC pairing, and Auracast are not supported. On the codec side, the earbuds do not include AAC, LDAC, LDHC, or any variant of aptX — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice — and Bluetooth LE Audio is also absent.
The Tozo NC3 include ambient sound mode, a mute function, voice prompts, and fast charging among their core features, and they can be used as a headset for calls. Controls are placed on the device itself, though there is no in-line control panel. A travel bag is included in the package, and the earbuds come with a 1-year warranty. In/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification reading, a temperature sensor, and a camera remote function are not available.
The Tozo NC3 are equipped with a total of 6 microphones, supported by noise-canceling microphone technology to help reduce unwanted background sound during calls. Microphone sensitivity is rated at -45dBV/Pa.
