The TP-Link Deco BE75 measures 128 × 128 × 236 mm with a total volume of 3866.624 cm³, giving it a compact tower-like form factor. It includes six internal antennas, with no external or removable ones, keeping the exterior uncluttered. On the connectivity side, it offers one WAN port and two LAN ports, while USB ports are absent. The unit does not have outdoor capability, and antennas are fixed and non-removable. It carries a warranty period of one year.
The Deco BE75 operates across tri-band Wi-Fi and supports a broad range of wireless standards, including Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and the latest Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be). Combined wireless throughput reaches 11530 Mb/s, reflecting the high-speed potential of its multi-band configuration. DNS relay is supported, aiding in network name resolution, while there is no external memory slot available on this unit.
The Deco BE75 comes equipped with a broad set of security features, starting with a built-in network firewall and SPI intrusion protection to guard against unauthorized access and network-level threats. DoS protection is included, and wireless connections are secured through WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 protocols. MAC address filtering, URL filtering, port filtering, and a Network Services Filter give administrators granular control over what devices and traffic are permitted on the network. On the VPN side, the router supports L2TP Passthrough, IPsec Passthrough, PPTP Passthrough, and a PPTP server. It also handles both automatic and static IP addressing, includes Network Address Translation, and offers parental controls for managing access at the household level.
The Deco BE75 supports mesh Wi-Fi, allowing multiple units to work together for extended whole-home coverage, and can be used wirelessly as part of that setup. MU-MIMO is included for handling simultaneous data streams to multiple devices, while beamforming is not supported. Network management is well-covered with QoS, both dynamic and static routing, VLAN tagging, UPnP, and Network Time Protocol. IPv6 is enabled, and a WPS button is present for straightforward device onboarding. A dedicated smartphone app is available for configuration and control, though the unit does not support Matter or DLNA certification.
