Ulefone Armor 27 Pro

The Ulefone Armor 27 Pro features a rugged build rated IP68 for full waterproofing, and it carries a French Repairability Index score of 9.5, reflecting a high level of serviceability. It operates reliably across an extreme temperature range of -30 °C to 55 °C, making it suitable for harsh environments. The phone is not foldable and measures 182.8 mm tall, 86.8 mm wide, and 18.5 mm thick, with a total volume of 293.54 cm³ and a weight of 441 g.

The Armor 27 Pro uses a 6.78″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a 1080 x 2460 px resolution and a pixel density of 396 ppi, paired with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, offering solid resistance against scratches and drops. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

The Armor 27 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6 nm process and running an octa-core CPU with two cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six at 2.0 GHz across 8 threads, with big.LITTLE and HMP technologies enabling efficient workload distribution. The SoC includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics in the form of an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz with DirectX 12 support, and achieves Geekbench 6 scores of 782 single-core and 2012 multi-core. The device comes with 12 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz and a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.07 GB/s, supported by 512 KB L1, 1 MB L2, and 2 MB L3 cache, alongside 256 GB of internal storage. The platform supports 64-bit processing and multithreading throughout.

The Armor 27 Pro features a triple rear camera system with 64 MP, 50 MP, and 50 MP sensors and apertures of f/1.8, f/2.2, and f/2.0 respectively, using CMOS sensors without back-illumination and no optical image stabilization or optical zoom. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus with continuous autofocus during video, though laser autofocus is absent. Video recording reaches up to 1440p at 30 fps, with slow-motion and timelapse modes available, but HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported. The camera app offers a solid range of manual controls covering exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, along with HDR mode, burst mode, and in-camera panoramas, while RAW shooting and manual shutter speed are not available. Two LED flash units are present on the rear, though they do not form a dual-tone or RGB configuration. The 32 MP front camera has an aperture of f/2.5, no secondary lens, no under-display placement, and no front-facing flash.

The Armor 27 Pro runs Android 14, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. Privacy options are well covered, including clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are absent. Customization features include dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes are not available. The OS handles productivity through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while they download. Additional utilities include a battery health check, child lock, phone tracking, and Live Text for selecting text from images. Wi-Fi password sharing, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to use the device as a PC are not supported, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Armor 27 Pro is equipped with a 10600 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 33 W wired fast charging and 30 W wireless charging, with a charger included in the box. It also offers reverse wireless charging, allowing the device to share power with other compatible accessories. A battery level indicator is built in for convenient monitoring, though the battery is not removable.

The Armor 27 Pro includes stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, along with a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec options — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Armor 27 Pro supports 5G connectivity with download speeds of up to 3300 Mbits/s and accepts two SIM cards, while Wi-Fi coverage spans Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6 standards. Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC are both present, and the USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0 speeds. An external memory slot is available for storage expansion. The sensor suite includes a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, barometer, infrared sensor, GPS with Galileo support, and a fingerprint scanner, though there is no heart rate monitor, iris scanner, or 3D facial recognition. Motion tracking, optical tracking, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, HDMI output, satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, and a built-in projector are all absent, and no stylus is included.

The Armor 27 Pro includes a video light for illuminating footage during recording. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no e-paper technology, and is not fitted with sapphire glass.
