The Ulefone Note 17 Pro has a standard, non-folding form factor with dimensions of 163.8 × 74.2 mm and a 9 mm thickness, giving it a relatively slim profile for its class. It weighs 197.8 g and occupies a volume of 109.39 cm³. The device carries a water-resistant rating, offering a degree of protection against moisture, though it does not feature a rugged build.

The Ulefone Note 17 Pro features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 px and a pixel density of 388 ppi, producing a reasonably sharp visual experience. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 500 nits, while the Always-On Display feature keeps key information visible without fully waking the screen. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 for added scratch and impact resistance. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Ulefone Note 17 Pro is powered by the Mediatek Helio G99, a 6 nm octa-core SoC with two performance cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six efficiency cores at 2 GHz, supported by 12 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 4266 MHz and 256 GB of eMMC 5.2 internal storage. The chip employs big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) and includes integrated LTE, ARM TrustZone security, and a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.1 GB/s across two memory channels. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 GPU, clocked at 950 MHz with a turbo speed of 2133 MHz, 32 shading units, support for up to two displays, DirectX 11, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. In benchmarks, the device scores 729 in Geekbench 6 single-core and 1979 in multi-core, achieves 10585 on PCMark Work 3.0, and records a battery endurance of 830 minutes in the same suite. The SoC operates within a thermal envelope of 5W TDP and supports a maximum CPU temperature of 95 °C, with the platform fully supporting 64-bit processing.

The Ulefone Note 17 Pro features a dual-lens rear camera system led by a 108 MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, paired with a 5 MP secondary lens at f/1.9, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus for stills, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not present. The main camera supports video recording at 1440p at 30 fps along with slow-motion capture, while HDR mode, burst shooting, timelapse, and in-camera panorama are all available; HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed and RAW capture are absent, and there is no optical zoom or optical image stabilization. The two rear flash LEDs do not operate in dual-tone mode. On the front, a 32 MP single-lens camera sits at f/2.5 in a standard position — not under the display — and lacks its own flash; it does not support 3D or 360-degree capture either.

The Ulefone Note 17 Pro runs Android 13, an open-source platform that supports multi-user accounts, device tracking, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and on-device machine learning. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, and camera/microphone access management, along with the ability to block app tracking; however, Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking prevention are not available. The interface supports dynamic and manual theme customization, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications, a media picker, sharing intents, widgets, child lock, and split-screen multitasking. Additional usability features include Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, Live Text selection, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, battery health check, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and OS updates do not come directly from the platform vendor.

The Ulefone Note 17 Pro is equipped with a 5050 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 33W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it straightforward to monitor remaining charge. The battery is non-removable and does not support wireless charging.

The Ulefone Note 17 Pro includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio and a built-in radio, offering a couple of traditional audio conveniences. It does not feature stereo speakers, and none of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Ulefone Note 17 Pro supports dual SIM cards and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC, though 5G is not available. Wired connectivity is handled through a USB Type-C port running at USB 2.0 speeds, and there is no HDMI output or external memory slot. Cellular download speeds reach up to 650 Mbit/s with uploads up to 150 Mbit/s. For navigation, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, a gyroscope, and an accelerometer, while a barometer is absent. Security and biometrics are covered by a fingerprint scanner, though 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. An infrared sensor is built in, adding remote control functionality, while ANT+, DLNA certification, a heart rate monitor, motion tracking, optical tracking, satellite SOS, crash detection, and a built-in projector are all absent. No stylus is included in the box.

The Ulefone Note 17 Pro features a curved display and includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The screen uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
